I'm in the process of implementing some cryptocoin games.
Do you think this is better suited to karmacoin or dogecoin? Or both?

If there weren't 100 other people also working on games for Doge (and who have a head start) then I would say Doge. But my answer would be Karma.

Get a head start and be the first with a Karma game. Karma is going to be much bigger than it is now in a couple of months.

I'm not sure. I have 120k unconfirmed - from the last 30 mins. Is that normal?

Yes, it usually takes a couple hours to confirm.

+1

imo its better to be start in a new coin, rather than one with 100's of people working on games for a coin like doge.

You could do both, but suggest starting with karma -> doge  Smiley

I've seen a couple of other doge games but nothing like I have in mind Tongue
But then - I haven't seen many. Do you know of some popular/successful ones?

I agree that karma has quite a bit of good potential though, see how it goes.
I'm just trying to wrap my head around how I can market these games for karma.
It's so easy with doge, as theres plenty of fun one-liners.
Doge is more closely aligned with fun, whereas karma is more aligned to charity/justice/etc.

Definitely karmacoin, this coin is going to be popular so it is worth your time investment.

Well I think things are moving quite well now with the coin. It's not going to push up the difficulty wildly it appears. The last part up to 10500 was a KILLER. But the first part after 10500 was LEGENDARY!! Muahahaha

So I think we should take most of this conversation to /r/KarmaCoinGood... is someone able to do up a bit of css/design in conjunction with our resident Karma creator and push some extra subreddits for information + trade? The trade aspect of /r/dogemarket is huge and brilliant.

Karma has a great name, and a great strategy, along with a great denomination (which is hugely important)

It also has a strong incentive with the BONUS strategy of blocks to allow long term miners to get in on the action regardless of when they start mining.

http://pool.karmacoin.info is taking well over 50% of the hash according to their dashboard but i have a feeling the nethash reading is off....  There must be tons of people mining at this diff.

yea I think it is way off, karmacoin.info pool is at 434 Mh/s and Hashstrike pool is at 214 but net hash is at 549, 434+214 doesn't = 549 or anywhere close at that matter and that's just 2 of the pools

I think it is just going to take a few rounds to adjust.  We will see.  Wink
