Liverpool were very sluggish. The 2-0 win didn't tell the full story really. Watford scuffed a few sitters and 2-2 would have been a fair score really. Two great goals from Salah though.
But Liverpool were playing well all through the match. It's just they were not able to score which was stressful. In any moment Watford could score but they were unlucky really. Good thing that at the end of the match we had Liverpool with three full points. This is happening with Liverpool in the whole season. Somehow they manage to get the wins and we need more of these 😀 Leicester were also mediocre and Norwich probably deserved the win there. Shame about Vardy's goal being given as a keeper own goal to put a knife in his record goal run which has now been cut short. I'm sure Liverpool fans are ecstatic with the result though. Yes of course! Liverpool now has 10 points lead and this is massive! However I was not expecting Leicester to draw or lose in this match. They were having good run in the leauge and draw with Norwich was unexpected. Anyone backing Arsenal to take points away from City tomorrow and finally put the nail in the coffin for them? Not sure I'd back them to win but I think it will be close. City is probably done at this point anyway. Might as well concentrate on the Champion's League or the other domestic cups. Too risky to back Arsenal so I gone with usual, City to win 😝

After watching today's results there is any possiblity any result can happen in any match so Arsenal playing at home ane they are improving in recent time so may be I will try to do some small bet as I am feeling they are not bad at all just need some time for settling things out of ground.

I met with road accident yesterday and was unable to make the picks. I thought it would be final blow as I am already 60 points lagging from the pool leader and losing another 10-15 points would virtually end my chances of winning pool. But seems like everyone doing awful this week. The round leader has only scored 6 so far and I got 2 points through default picks. So trail is still salvageable and I may make my way in top 10. By the way, I have also picked both Manchester teams to win today. I am going for 3-5 for Arsenal vs Manchester City match. Hope we will see lot of goals.

Well don't worry, this round is a disaster for all. So far 6 points from 6 matches which is the highest. Group leader tokeweed was able to manage only 3 points so do me 🤪 As usual examplens is moving faster. We have Utd, Tottenham and City match today. The way the ruound is progressing, we may see some upsets today as well which means usual picks will lose again. It's a hard call.

De Bruyne is on fire today. 2 goals and an assist already. Can he better the Coutinho's performance from yesterday's match?
He was among my top 3 present midfielders with De Jong and Toni Kroos. But after today's performance, he's inarguably the best midfielder at the moment.

Arsenal were a sorry sight. It hurt even me to watch them, because this type of win (the only game KDB has ever scored more than 1 btw) is going to pump City full of energy and resolve.
So, @toma, good luck. It never is over till the fat lady sings. And yes, that goes for Liverpool too. Just one game at a time. I'll be happy to get past the next 5 games to break City's crazy record from 2017 though (best ever start to season with 20 wins and 1 draw)!

It seems that Mikael Arteta could be next Arsenal manager. He was already in the club for few seasons as a player and has probably learned quite a lot as Pep assistant but I wouldn't give him a club as big as Arsenal for first solo job. In other news, Ancelotti seems to be heavily linked to Everton.

Pretty poor week for me and I'm falling further down the table week by week. Thought I had 1-1 down for the game last night but turns out I went for 1-0 instead. Would have had a perfect score in the Spurs game but Vertonghen annoyingly went and got the winner in injury time. Arsenal were a sorry sight. It hurt even me to watch them, because this type of win (the only game KDB has ever scored more than 1 btw) is going to pump City full of energy and resolve.

Arsenal were terrible (and have been the past few games), but City treated the second half like a training session. 3-0 up at half time and didn't manage to score another was pretty poor on their part. Mostly boring games this weekend, especially the 3'o clock kicks off. Man City vs Leicester is the only game worth watching on Saturday, but I think City will probably win it quite comfortably. I hope I'm wrong though. Would still rather Leicester come second.

I have no idea what Ancelotti is doing if he goes there.
It would be a gamble, one that could prove costly for Arsenal because they are already way behind in the race for that 4th spot. Arteta looks like a great assistant, but more often than not great assistants turn out to be bad managers when they are in charge. I think Arsenal wouldn't get to top 4 with Klopp and Guardiola combined and 300 million spent in January so yes, trying Arteta might be a gamble they can afford since they are basically out of the season in December. Ancelotti to Everton? Yup, that one seems like a shock. A coup for the Bitters if true.

Arsenal COULD try & win the Europa League. It looks a lot more likely as a route to next seasons CL than finishing in the top 4 of the league. I’m surprised at how poorly Emery did in the PL, probably just a case of wrong place at the wrong time.

It might have any drastic effect negatively other than them losing a great assistant coach because Arsenal weren't even in the title race to begin with, that's if there's still a title race for this season anyways. And as for Arsenal. Arteta would be a great manager and with the experience he must have garnered alongside Guardiola that would be of huge benefit too. However, I would have preferred Ancelotti, tbh. but what are the chances he would be willing to sign for Arsenal?
