Well i dont know why only Everton got this point deduction. Man City and Chelsea should have gotten this a long time ago and they didnt,so still didnt expect this decision. First i saw they were gonna get 12 points in the end they got 10. I wonder how this will effect Evertons players in the future because they were on a good run and from nowhere they are in relegation zone.

Wow. It really happened, feel bad for them but luckily they have been getting those points, while all the promoted teams are on track to be the worst ever in terms of points collected throughout the Premier League era.

Now, why is the Man City load of cases taking so long to resolve? Great question to ask.

Huge penalty for Everton, but there's actually a golden line for them here - it came in a season in which they actually have a chance to survive even with the deduction. Also - Everton will challenge the decision and the penalty will probably be lowered.

I'm really interested to see what happens with City now - and what will happen with Chelsea down the line.

they knew how to word it, and it does not effect City or Chelsea case
basically, Everton is punished for overspending 19,7 milion on new Stadium facility, not on players

since City and Chelsea only bought players, their cases are now different

FFP is a joke and every case just confirms it. No way Chelsea, City, Barca and PSG did not break FFP and nobody is touching them because they are big and have good lawyers. But you have to punish some smaller club here in there just to justify the existence and pay checks.

If you ask me I believe half of the clubs in every big league is guilty and could be charged with something with exception of Bundesliga maybe. Seems like Germans learned their lesson and now have the league and clubs on healthy foundations.

Chelsea breached the UEFA FFP rules, for which they were charged and have now been cleared. This is not the same as Eveton breaching Premier League rules with their stadium funding.

Chelsea has not been found to have violated any Premier League rules. City 115 PL charges should be given more attention..

Everton should definitely challenge the decision especially in a season like this where uncertainty of them remaining in the Premier League is big even without the penalty.As for City we know that the FA in England does not take that much of a dramatic ruling against them,I don't know why but most likely because the sheikh owning the team knows who to please in order to go unpunished  .

Every team who breaches a rule should be punished in my opinion but most likely we will see a different behavior for each team of the FA regarding different teams,that is how it works not only in England but everywhere.

Sure it is, but if you fine Everton with (realistically) a huge points deduction for a minor offence, you're really asking for trouble if you don't fine City as well.

And what will Liverpool get for breaking into another club's scouting databases? Isn't it true that they were found guilty? Everyone's hands are stained with blood, which is why no club is pointing fingers at the moment.

Dealing with City is like dealing with the entire Arab Emirates; they have the resources to drag the issue through court for years until everyone gets tired of it.

Finance in football we all know are the most flawed shit in the world. All the clubs are broke but always buying big players and making fancy reforms in the stadiums.... You just only need some good contacts and good accountants.

For sure. Big, small, all guilty, the bigger and closer to top, the more guilty.

But don't be too sure about Bundesliga. I agree they have best system, but they have their own problems. They also have no salary cap now, and it is the club management that can be controlled, great but it's npt a guarantee of good management.

The FA can be found guilty of many many things but why should we care as it doesn't concern us,we love football and they have the best league on the world where everybody agrees they have the most beautiful football played.

They can have their problems and I am not going to think that just because these people aren't the most honest and with integrity persons to not watch this league,I will always watch this league whatever happens,for those problems there are the law enforcement agencies that have to deal with them.

Points deduction from the top teams will not reduce those who watch games nor will it affect the competitiveness of the league. If the FA chooses to not act if City are found guilty of the charges of if they muddy the case so much that there is no definite outcome they will be doing to benefit their pockets and not the standard of football in the league.

I do not really care much and will not even want another team to win the league only by ducking points of City, it will put a huge dent on the achievements of the would be champions.

Everton committed a financial mistake while knowing what they were going into, and they are now paying the price. Going 19.5m over the FFP was a rookie mistake, and there was no way they were getting out of it. City and Chelsea has yet to be proven guilty, and all claims against them must be substantiated before punishment can be imposed.

Am going with the Reds on this one.
Just hope I am not wrong about my prediction I decided on earlier in the week for them to go against the grain and put the City boys in their place atleast once late during this season.
Might even put a pound or two for them scoring over 4 goals on them in the victory.

Remember they are without Haaland as he injured himself during a friendly from what I remember while checking the team stats right before I made my predictions for this week.

Same i hate the international break and i think its really bad. But i would avoid somehow Man City this week with 2 injuries. Without Haaland and Rodri it wont be easy for them to win against a tough opponent. This round will be intresting because some teams dont look really good and after the break things dont go the right way.

Same way Liverpool have a good record against Man city when they play at Anfield, heck, Liverpool have a good record against everyone at home. I think Liverpool have only lost once to City at home since 2016.
Same way I will expect City to come out on top at the Etihad this Saturday. It will take a crazy effort from the reds to be able to come away with three points this weekend and go top of the table.

It is awesome to have league football back.

I'm guessing you fell victim to Pep's mind game as well. Halaand merely had a small ailment and didn't want to risk it for a non-important game. He's back in training and getting set to face Liverpool this weekend.

I predict a low-scoring first half, so I'm going for a BTS in the second half or the second-highest scoring half on this one. Two of the league's shiest and best attacks.
