But really, we are a different team without Alisson between the posts. Yes, we leak goals anyway but just the overall back now doesn't feel the same without him. Kelleher's decent but, not Prem League quality.

Kinda disagree there - I really feel he's a good GK. He's wasting his career with us - he should push for a transfer.
He had a bad game today - but overall and across the last few years, I've really been impressed with him.

What a bad score for Aston Villa, they have the gold chance to took over some positions and become the second team in the tabble. But they only reach a last minute draw against Bournemouth, who i have to say its defendin pretty well his home games.

This round was pretty amazing,this was the round with so many goals and it was hard to get a correct score. Liverpool with that amazing win in the end was pretty good. Too bad for Aston Villa had the win on them but just didnt happen. The league is really close and so much teams are just even at the top. Also another solid round for me and im happy with it,still holding the first place and hopefully i continue like this.

I finally managed to go up a few spots this round and made it to sniffing 10th place finally, so very happy. Getting Everton and Newcastle was key

I can't believe stuff like this happens in the PL in 2023, this league is too good for its refereeing to still be at an amateur level.

yesterday was probably one of most entertaining days in Premier league, with Liverpool overcoming Fulham in a minute, Chelsea and Brighton having 5 goals, and Villa last minute equalizer against Bournemouth

I can't believe stuff like this happens in the PL in 2023, this league is too good for its refereeing to still be at an amateur level.

And Simon Hooper was actually having a very decent game up till that point in the game. I am still struggling to understand what prompted the decision, the only thing I can think of is that his line of vision was blocked and he though City had lost the ball so only fair to bring it back for the foul since no advantage was played.

On the flip side, will City players get a sanction for their reactions after the decision? Arsenal have had a lot of that in recent years.

Was watching the game at 2-2 and staying to myself if City put in another goal it was over. Lost track at doing something else since it was a nice Sunday afternoon and didn't watch the rest of the match. Still had 18 or more minutes left including injury so of course they were going to score more in the dying minutes.
Didn't check the result til seeing it on Superbru this Monday morning. I can tell you, I was quite surprised got the draw.
But it does seem they have been settling for draws with the top of the leaderboard or end up losing those matches.
Got third place in the pool.

Yes, thanks for the screenshot. This is a fairly broad interpretation and allows almost everyone who guessed the outcome to get an extra half a point.
In general, a score of 2-1 almost always allows you to get these extra points since 1-0, 2-0, 2-1, 3-1 are the most common outcomes. Other outcomes are more exotic and occur much less frequently.

I guess buwa always bets against them he must be feeling so annoyed he didn't go for DNB or DB. I guess odds look good for them to lose but not for anything else.

3-2 seems getting more and more common I try them now in other leagues (2-1 is my most boring but most safe pick to me also like you said aboe it's the "best" outcome for almost the most common results).

I initially picked a 2-2 draw, but after the Europa league match that Brighton played and their depleted squad expected Chelsea to come out on top, with their home advantage, so I changed it on the matchday to 3-2 in favour of Chelsea. Really surprised it turned out correct.

I am really gutted Nketiah hit the post with the chance in the final minutes to take Arsenal 3-1 ahead. That would have been another exact score.

That's a fair argument if if you look at the attacking part of the game - but Arsenal scored 4 goals yesterday.
Defending on small pitches is easier, there's less space even for smaller teams to find open crosses, to freely send long balls from deep zones.

I had more faith in Arsenal scoring alot of goals in this fixture as I had 4-1 outcome of the match.
But who would of thought a club like Luton Town can put 3 goals against the leaders of the League.
They lead 3-2 at the 57' minute mark. Don't know why Arteta replaced Ramsdale with Raya in the first place as he hasn't done much wrong so far in the season.

Have Manchester United with the draw for today's matches so will see if my predictions are correct for this one against Chelsea.

Arsenal used to have the shortest pitch too before they got their Gulf money -- I remember attackers complaining they ran out of grass quicker than they expected but yeah, I think smaller pitches are easer to defend, and it affects pacier teams. No team needs to complain anymore (but I will say astroturf is the true horror).

Also how do you feel about Nunez? I still really like the way he plays, sure, I could do with better goal returns (he's still pretty high on on contributions per minute though) but so long as he continues to sow chaos, I'm good.

Well yeah you are right on that, but the main thing is the local team knows hows to play in it and can make the away team fell into the trap, i know its not easy to say this when you allowed 4 goals hahaha.

Buwaytress likes bets with odds of 10, I’m not sure that odds of 4.70 (as the Aston Villa win is currently quoted) will attract him.
I hope City will lose points again and the bookmakers will understand that they were in a hurry to give the title to City with odds of 1.1.

If I remember correctly, I paid attention to the Total from the bookmakers, plus the fact that Chelsea began to score a lot and concede a lot, and it seemed to me that 3-2 fits well into the pattern.
Regarding Arsenal, I thought they would win 3-0. I was a little mistaken

City is a consistent team. They always have bad starts at the beginning of the season but in times they become more consistent. I am not worried about Arsenal at all. They will drop from the point table sooner or later.
