Man City doesn't need the money, Yeah. Is having the money not a better business move than a player who wants more than the club can afford to provide, it will only lead to further toxicity like the case of Joao Cancelo after the World Cup, with the way things were heading Alvarez mind seemed to be made up, and I don't think City can afford him more minutes than he's already getting, for a player that started 23 premier league games last season, according Man City website, he played in 54 games, and started in 39 of them in all competitions. He had the most games played in than any other Man City player last season, also had the most games started in than any other Man City attacker other than Foden and Haaland. I understand this doesn't translate into his level of importance for the club, but I think he's being considered a part of their imminent transition given the departure of Gundogan last season, De Bruyne almost left this season and is probably playing his final season with the club too, Alvarez look pretty much like the next in line to be a focal part of the face of the club imo, perhaps the club could have had better dialogue, I just don't think Alvarez camp was in for it, I mean as a player that young, he's won it all too in terms of trophies right ? aside for personal accolades which I think he would stand a better chance too away from City as an individual.

I agree. We see especially how much Palmer has shined like a star at Chelsea after leaving Manchester City at the beginning of the previous season. Chelsea are also good this season.I think Palmer's condition can be a reason to encourage young players who can't find the playing time they want at Manchester City. I think Alvarez will show a very high level performance at a different team.

Zubimendi to LFC? I didn't see much of the guy, but what I did was actually very good.
I think he'll fit in nicely, but I'd still rather that we focus on our expiring contracts situation rather than bringing new players in.

Both can be done in parallel, sure, but it's of huge significance to know whether we count on Salah, VVD and Trent for the season.

I agree. We see especially how much Palmer has shined like a star at Chelsea after leaving Manchester City at the beginning of the previous season. Chelsea are also good this season.I think Palmer's condition can be a reason to encourage young players who can't find the playing time they want at Manchester City. I think Alvarez will show a very high level performance at a different team.

I think we keep mixing some things terms of playing time, Guardiola does what's best for the club and the squad at large, we all always talk about his heavy rotation policy and almost playing different starting XI every 2-3 matches, he's the only coach with which you can easily say all players gets some level of significant playing time, with even Chelsea that Palmer went to, how many players had to keep rotting on the bench ? even when we all know they're not terrible enough to not deserve some playing time, the thing is that these players from an individual stand point wants to play every time, I mean they're all human after all, and it will always come at the cost of other players too, so I'm really fine with each players seeking greener pasture or more playing time elsewhere, at end of the day you can only field 11 players at once.

I think I might be the only one that doesn't buy too much into this Niclas Füllkrug transfer and I hope that I'll be very wrong, I mean he's got some fire going on and hunger for goals, but really, it just gives me some "Wout Weghorst" 2022 World Cup vibe...

Big move , great guy, saw few of his games at the Euros but I've never seen any striker ( Sebastien Haller, Marko Arnautovic....etc) survive so long at Westham except for Antonio, he should have moved to a more attacking team like Aston Villa or Brighton.

Maybe we watch a different West Ham, but they are a poacher's dream club.

Fullkrug will have a lot of joy waiting for the spaces to open up and with his build he can make a nuisance of himself in the box. No, West Ham has never been a pocher's dream club; they recruit strikers every season, but none of them have ever lived up to expectations. Antonia is the only one who appears to understand West Ham's deep counter-attacking style.

Scoring more goals does not make you an attacking team; the last time Chelsea were tagged "bus FC," we really had the most goals in the league and were not an attacking football club; we were only taking counter-attacking chances and everyone up front were all great finisher. (Similar to Westham)

No, West Ham has never been a pocher's dream club...West Ham's deep counter-attacking style.

Many poachers who like to play without the ball love a side like that, especially if they have some quick wingers who can get the ball up the flanks quickly and maybe a creative midfielder.

The S.I for attacking football is big chances created and Brighton created 67(9th) compared to Westham 58(15th)last season.  Yeah...

Fullkrug is not good with ball retention or stringing passes together, not a fit for Brighton or any other side that likes to play with the ball.

I didn't want to criticize Guardiola. He is already doing the best he can to build the right squad. However it wasn't very possible for Alvarez to find so much chance to play while he had Haaland ahead of him. Therefore it was good for him to be transferred. I pretty much understand, the game is the game, but then how many players have we seen willing to take a fast road out and ended up not even being able to find their foot in smaller clubs, maybe because I support Barcelona and I've seen a lot these kids (Bojan Krkik and Dennis Suarez are always the first names that pops to my head, really) simply because they've played in some really fantastic system that made it quite easy for them to shine in a lot of games even as 20-15 minutes cameos they believe they're are the next real deal and needs to step out of the shadows of the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets and/ or Messi who are said to be always taking all the credits, and in less than a few years you kind even find their names on the Europe radar, while most of them are now in their very late 20s or even 30+ now and most of the time I think they're usually just being railroaded into those decisions, to me if the pay is pretty better then by all means go for it, for these clubs, it's just usually what's best for them at the end of the day, but when they pay aren't any better, and you get to play more but at the end of the day learn a lot less in terms of the caliber of players you're around and all that.

Please welcome me! lol This is my first time joining one of the sportsbet.io football pools. I've been seeing this for years here on bitcointalk, but it's only now that I've become interested in joining. I even considered canceling my sign up, but it's okay—I'll continue it. It's all about enjoying the experience, even though I'm not a huge football fan, especially English Premier League. Only Neto, DBW, Jorgensen, and Veiga play for the main team; the rest are on long-term loan at their respective clubs. These are baby steps of pain, but I believe that when it all clicks together, Chelsea will be ahead of every club in Europe, and every top-tier club will have 1-2 of our players on their roster, just as it was a few years ago.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester city were all over Neto since last season and I didn't see such remake from you. Lol

Give it a break, when it comes to Chelsea, it's all about money, yet Caicedo chose us over Liverpool, Mudryk chose us over Arsenal and these lads are earning way lesser than what you lots proposed to them. We are a much bigger club in the 21st century, whether you believe it or not. Most younger players would always chose us over Liverpool and Arsenal, and this is a reality.

I really hope they cannot keep Neto fit next season, he is a beautiful player. Potentially their best signing of the past 2-3 years for me if everything turns out right.
Also with the number of strikers available to them, why the hell do they still want Joao Felix?

These are baby steps of pain, but I believe that when it all clicks together, Chelsea will be ahead of every club in Europe, and every top-tier club will have 1-2 of our players on their roster, just as it was a few years ago.

Squad depth and  to make Gallagher deal goes through after Samu deal collapsed - Joao Felix at 40m and wage reduction is a big steal, he can also provide competition to the LW position.

Raheem sterling could also be going out if we secure J. Felix and Osimhen.

I hope your boss shouts at them with the same fervour as you. Sometimes I think some managers just don't have it in them to get stern with little boy wonders who then don't know how to put steel into their game. I'm gunning for a BTTS Chelsea win, but I'm more certain in Chelsea scoring over 1.5 as well. Might do a Betbuilder for double chance Chelsea, over 1.5 goals and scoring both halves.

Why do players reject Liverpool? Because they never feel it's prestigious enough for their resume haha. We've never been a Galacticos, we manufacture them lovingly from regular athletes

That's an unrealistic outcome; we already know City will win the league, Chelsea won't be relegated, and Liverpool won't win any silverware next season. It's strange that you're donating money on those odds.

Liverpool should sack the club project PowerPoint presenter; the fact that players continue to reject club projects is a major issue. Liverpool offered X2 of what Real Sociedad offered.
