Speaking of reinforcements with how good Gravenbech was in the first match, the loss of Zubimendi may not be felt so much, wonder why Klopp never tried him as a holding midfielder.

Because he ain't a holding midfielder. He can have a good game against a weak team where the control is Liverpool's, but in a more even game I doubt he'll be considered at all - Endo will probably get the nod.
If however Gravenberch does play the 6, it will be in a double pivot with a player that isn't a 6 as well - example McAllister.

It can work temporarily - but long-term it won't bring us trophies.

I did see a lot of potential that can be harnessed if he is allowed to play more there. He is more forward thinking than Endo in my opinion.

Very few players have the skill set to play the holding midfielder role perfectly and not in a double pivot, reason why City suffer whenever Rodri is not playing. If you get one with some potential, he should be giving more opportunities to try it out. We will see if Slot gives him more outings there.

Believe it or not, I am not a Modric fan. He is, without a doubt, the greatest Croatian player ever and without him we wouldn’t have had the success we've had in  the last six years. I totally get what you mean here. I forgive players for being human, after all, things like scandals with affairs and even partying etc, especially when players are young, you sort of forgive them. We're all this way and make instant mistakes I call them.

But this kind of crime is different you have time to think about it, you have time to decide, and you still make the wrong call.

Usually this is not something I talk much about but also why I can never be a person who likes Ronaldo CR7 because of what he did with women. I know it all got settled, but he paid big money to shush the whole thing. Great footballer but when you know these things you feel like you cannot ever support them, and United taking him back, I was very happy, he made them worse.

Nobody really saw much of the guy, and those that did did it in a league in which tlhe pace is quite different.
What I did see though impressed me a lot and I'm really bummed that we didn't get him.

Caicedo I didn't really rate so that 100 mil is a bullet well dodged, Lavia on the other hand I think is a player with a lot of potential.
I watched him live as well (thank you Sportsbet, I love you) and he was al over the pitch - you don't see that stuff on camera that well.

Did anyone watch Man United last week against Fulham?
I am looking at their squad and it is not looking very good to me, and they have some injured players missing for match against Brighton.
Zirkzee looks like a decent player but I am not sure he is going to be enough for another Man United win.

Playing away against Wolves is never easy, but being away from our toxic home fans has been of great help to the players. I despise the fact that every time we sell homegrown players, our home fans start chanting and disrespecting the club rather than supporting the players on the pitch. It won't be a comfortable win, but we should be able to get a maximum point with Jackson scoring too. No clean sheet

Did anyone watch Man United last week against Fulham?

They were not terrible, were able to create some good chances during the match and some of their defensive players showed good performances. In the attack Garnacho, Amad and Zirkzee have real promise.

Brighton will be a very tough match, whoever wins I see United having a decent season.

Brighton has signed Ferdi Kadıoğlu from Fenerbahçe for 30 million euros. As he is a player who I have been following closely, I would like to say a few things about him. He is a left back with a quite good offensive side. After starting his career as number 10, Vitor Pereira tried him on the left back position and the player's life changed.

If Ferdi shows the performance I expect at Brighton, he would be signed by a much bigger team for around 70-80 million euros in 1-2 years.

I watched him live as well (thank you Sportsbet, I love you) and he was al over the pitch - you don't see that stuff on camera that well.

I don't rated him that much either because he hasn't live up to his price tag, Enzo too because I still don't understand what his role is in the team but Lavia performance was brilliant. Always favoured Caicedo pairing with  Gallagher because he brings out the best in him and not when he's playing along side Enzo (but sadly he's out of the team).

Better than I expected, they weren't that bad considering it's Manchester United and they aren't a team you should hold at high esteem but they always find a way to win. Against Fulham, they created lots of chances but weren't lucky until Zirkzee got the only goal. Burno, mount and Garnacho all had their chances to score but couldn't. Though it's Fulham so I wasn't expecting much from them as the didn't cause much threat but if Manchester United play the way they did against Fulham in their next game (against Brighton) they're losing.

Manchester United do deserve to be considered clowns.

Erik Ten Hag is far from being better, I don't think this team will ever change as long as Erik Ten Hag is in charge (I'm skeptical). Joao Pedro's last goal was painful but that's a weak defense.

I think Brighton's first goal was also because the defender didn't clear the ball just let it go to Mitoma which eventually became a goal on the pass to Welbeck.
