Exciting week of soccer none the less.  Everton snatching defeat from the jaws of victory was a bit too amusing.  Not to take anything from Bournemouth, that was a brilliant come back in the end.

Persistently stepping out of your technical area can get a sanction from the referee based on his interpretation of the rule, you provided a single image of Arteta stepping out of his area, I expected you will provide 3 or 4 to make it even admissible here.

Arteta does not keep getting away with anything, he was among the most booked coaches last season, even receiving a caution for talking to the ref after a match and for "over celebrating"... whatever the heck that is.

Same. I can't say that I make bold or unusual predictions, but the results are depressing - I'm near the bottom in the overall standings. So far, only 3 rounds have been completed and it is too early to talk about a critical lag, but it may soon be necessary to fight for a maximum of a yellow cap in separate rounds

Totally unexpectedly I won Yellow Cap in this pool and I had good results in BSFL and LMS.
Great win for Newcastle, but I expected Chelsea to win against Crystal Palace, looks like they spend a bunch of money for nothing again or they needed to launder money again.

Liverpool are going to challenge for the league title, I've seen enough of Slot football 

Well, the teams we played were shit (United included) so I'm not celebrating early. Still, it has to be said that the gameplan is clear and that we're trying to control games a bit more consistently than it was the case under Klopp.
Gravenberch as the 6 is a big questionmark for me. He played really well so far but I don't really feel he can be that 6 for us against tougher opposition.

Offensive rotation is great, Nunez is mostly benched, I'm quite optimistic. Not really sure what the Chiesa transfer will do for us though, or where he fits in. Never liked him as a player, not even in his prime.

Today I discovered that I have a free bet from somewhere (probably a bonus for participating in one of the polls), so I also plan to make a risky multi-bet (minimum odds of 10) and here I will choose Liverpool to win with a handicap of -1. It is clear that it is far from certain that Liverpool will take revenge so confidently, but the odds of 3.0 seem to me to be excellent compensation for the risk.

This is the nice problem to have for me also. I know there are freebets for yellow caps and competitions, but as they all come together, you have to guess where from, but nice problem

Hope you won this one, Liverpool should have been 5 zero or something apparently. United are that bad! It was excellent odds I totally agree.

Let me be a bad guy to say however Liverpool haven't met a top 4 challenger yet, tho the same is to be said about City.

So we need to wait and see about this.

Well, the teams we played were shit (United included) so I'm not celebrating early.

Brentford are a good team, Ipswich are not so bad too, the performance of Liverpool so far has been very assured and I think they are making potentially difficult matches easy. United was a banana peel last season for the reds not this time.

Still, it has to be said that the gameplan is clear and that we're trying to control games a bit more consistently than it was the case under Klopp.

And they still play with the high press and quick counter attack when the spaces open up. It is like Klopp 2.0

Nope, you were wrong not me, I just taught you part of the rules you didn't think existed in the first place, you should be thankful to me and stop shifting goalposts- You argued that coaches leaving a technical area is not an offence, but you rephrased your words after reading the rules.

Problem with us that at the end of the season we lose our focus and lose easy points that costs us a lot.

Salah is an important part of the Slot game puzzles it would be a shame to let him go, we might see the best of Salah again this season, he's looking offensive and sharp. City are on another level above everyone but Liverpool might give them some heat for their money.

Still same excuses of " I won more trophies than Liverpool, Tottenham and Arsenal in the last two years" But not really an excuse, hehe. I'm not sure how he managed to gain club support given how the club has performed since his arrival.

Same issue with Chelsea: sacking managers isn't working, and it's difficult to get a broken squad to compete again.

Not taking sides here just adding my own, I know nobody asked haha. Technically, what I notice in the EPL anyway, refs turn a blind eye to managers simply leaving technical areas (without committing any other offence). And I know Klopp especially used to get ignored when he did this -- but if some sort of non-positive behaviour accompanies, refs in England dish out a warning before the caution. He's definitely been cautioned, even sent off, for it, and no complaints. So I would say Arteta is enjoying the same tolerance from English refs, as is Pep, another animated manager.

But yeah always exceptions, especially if it's positive behaviour I think. Celebrations usually go unpunished (I think?) but he definitely should have been cautioned when he ran onto the pitch to celebrate Origi's win vs flailing Pickford. Man but I would probably have done the same, but being objective, I really don't think non-playing people should ever enter the pitch, it's hallowed ground.

You took the words out of my mouth and explained them perfectly; some managers appear to enjoy the privilege of straying from the technical area without being penalised, but claiming that such rules do not exist is not true, which is why I left him the link above.

Some managers are motivated by passion and want to be involved in games, which can lead them away from the technical area unintentionally, but I can't say the same with Arteta, who enjoys being on the touchline because he knows the FA refs are inconsistent. The Premier League allows top managers to get away with a lot of wrongdoing, which is the problem.

I think this is more a club thing. If Klopp was managing Brighton, he'd have been fined all the time.

Top clubs generate most of the traffic, thus generating most of the money, thus getting most of the privileges. Shitty that it's this way, but as long as money runs the game we'll be seeing more and more of it.

Did you read the link you shared? If not, I helped you with a screenshot and a highlight to make it easy.
It clearly stated there that occasionally stepping out of your technical area can get a warning, not a caution. Now please read this part slowly, YOU said Arteta stepped out of his technical area ONE TIME and did not get a yellow card, that is NOT the rule and does not show inconsistencies as you were trying to point out for some reasons.
If you still do not get it, I give up on the topic.

I will disagree on this. Arteta has come under fire for doing things other coaches will get away with. I remember when he complained about a referee's decision in his post match interview and called it a disgrace or words along those line and was absolutely piled on, other coaches have had the liberty of complaining and using certain words without coming under fire. He has also been booked for over-celebrating when he did not even get into the pitch, but as you highlighted, Klopp has run the full length and back without a caution. Arteta was the most booked coach last season, that is not someone who is enjoying a privilege.
If you notice, Arteta has become so much less animated than he used to be two seasons or so ago, why do you think that is?

And that is the sole reason City will never face severe punishment that will hinder their league and Champions League performance: they are the face of the league and produce more revenue for the FA in the CL. I usually tell my colleagues that no one cares about these midtable clubs; if you commit a little offence, you're more likely to receive a penalty quicker than any top team with the same offence.

If you still do not get it, I give up on the topic.

You stated that such restrictions do not exist and that managers can walk out of the technical area without penalties. No offence, but I'm done with this discussion if you can't admit you got it wrong and I was correct all along.
