Call me sentimental but I really liked Diaz. But yeah, the alternative is so much better for the long term. And the money recouped? Even better. Am actually surprised we got that much for them. Market is not what my mind remembers it to be I suppose.

Well strange to see this.

Diaz was not at the level? I feel more like he was good (not at the mane level) but i also feel like the rotation on Liverpool kills him, depending on the oponent the coach makes the changes and he was a starter and a sub and that is not so good for a player.

But yes the new ones seems to be maybe better than him in some cases.

Diaz was good - but not great. For a winger in a team like Liverpool, he simply needed to have more goal involvements.

He had huge periods of non-existence, followed by patches of brilliance - and ultimately lost his place to Gakpo.
He can't be a striker in a team like Liverpool, and on the wing he relied too much on bursts of quality than overall threat.

I think he'll do well in Bundesliga, but also think that it was a fantastic offer - and that he's not worth that kind of money.

Did Cuhna ever really played as a number 9 at Wolves? He operates better with freedom to move around behind the striker and find pockets of space to explore.

Behind the striker and as false 9 in some games - just wondering how Amorim is going to accommodate Sesko, Mbeumo and Cuhna in the starting to lineup. alot of headaches.
