boosblock - Did BTCsportsbet.eu pay you all the money that was owed? Can you explain what happened again? Thank you,

No, they never paid me all the money which was owed.  They stole 8 btc from me and refuse to communicate with me, SBR, or anyone else.  I've been around for a while and there are usually more to these stories; in this case there isnt.  This constitutes nothing but outright theft without explanation.

NitrogenSports and Betcoinsports both open at "B"

All "A" and "B" rated books are recommended.

Some "B" books should become "A" books with more time. Just one VALID no pay or prolonged slow pay will result in a substantial downgrade.

I am a bit interested in how you define a sportsbook?

In my eyes SBObitcoin, in it's role as agent, is more of an affiliate than an actual sportsbook. They are not pricing anything up themselves and don't take any risk, as they are paid a percentage of the turnover they bring to the real sportsbooks.

Too good to be true bonuses. And minimum deposits to claim said bonuses are 1+ BTC.
Thanks

I did read through that whole thread two days ago and came to the conclusion, right or wrong, that there wasn't enough evidence showing that Cloudbet had done anything that would warrant any type of downgrade. If a slow pay were involved, then I would have done a lot more research. In this case, I didn't feel it necessary.

Not one book has paid a penny for posting or advertising prior to a rating being posted. Books that now pay, after a rating has been submitted, are not protected at our forum as they are at other forums. Even though their banners will be up soon, we allow free speech. The only thing deleted is personal information.

Many of the "B" books will be an "A" soon but the book's history has to be over at least one year to get an "A" rating.  Blockbet, Bitcoinlive, and Bitcoinsports (365) all looked like great books at one time too.

SBObitcoin is an agent for PinnacleSports and SBOBET. These two books should be at the top of everyone's list as far as best books in the world. They take the largest wagers and have a great track records. SBObitcoin not only has a presence on multiple forums, but they have a live chat 24/7 that was very helpful.

DirectBet review

Directbet opened in December of 2013. No personal information is needed and the player does not have an account. Players deposit bitcoins to a bitcoin address that corresponds to the wager wanted. The only bitcoins held by Directbet are those that are being used for pending wagers. Wagers are graded automatically and winnings are returned to the bitcoin address that was used to place the wager minutes after the conclusion of the event. Make sure to use an e-wallet and not an exchange.

Another positive feature about Directbet is that they are the only bitcoin book to have true live wagering. Currently DirectBet is even offering in game on the Olympics. The offerings do not stop in game and wait for a commercial break as all the other bitcoin books do that offer live wagering.

No confirmations are needed to accept a wager. The maximum bet on full game is 7.8 BTC win amount. There have been no reports of slow pays. Since DirectBet is so new, it is unfair to both DirectBet and the players to have a rating at this time. If the status quo continues, DirectBet will be a must have book for those playing live.

edit- Correction as posted by DirectBet "Just a minor correction - winnings are not returned to the same Bitcoin address used to place the wager. Winnings are sent to any Bitcoin address of your choice. So you can send them directly to your exchange account or anywhere else for that matter.

Your payout address is set when you place a bet for the first time. That address is then stored for future bets and can be changed at any time."

this directbet is interesting because it cuts down on the risk of keeping your btc with another site/address.  Are you payouts after the games are over fast?  The only downside I see is that I have to pay a transaction fee with every bet I make.

99% of bets settle automatically within minutes of the event completion.

In fact, whenever possible, bets are settled while the event is still in progress ! For example, if you bet on Over 0.5 in a Soccer game, meaning that there would be at least 1 goal in the game, then as soon as a goal is scored you will receive your winnings - we don't wait for the game to finish as the result is already determined. Same for example when you bet on a set winner in Tennis.

Give us a try once and you will see how quick we are at settling bets.

As for the transaction fee, you are correct. Our betting style is not suitable for those who like to bet with micro stakes. Sending very small amounts might diminish your chances of winning, due to the fees (That said, we do not force a minimum bet size).

But for bigger bets, the fees are negligible. In light of recent news, where even an exchange is not a safe place to store your Bitcoins, we believe that it is worth paying a little extra in fees and have full control of your Bitcoins at all times.

Not having college sports did cause a lot of reflection. A couple of things stood out about anonibet. A player was overpaid 15 BTC. Anonibet took full blame for the mistake. They even went so far as to say that the player wasn't a cheat. I don't remember the exact wording but it had the same meaning. The player did pay back anonibet. Anonibet had an outage. Every player that emailed anonibet received .1 BTC for the down time. Anonibet opened in 2011 and has a maximum withdrawal of 500 BTC.

NitrogenSports is a good book. Here is the opening review.

NitrogenSports opened in February of 2013 and they are based in Costa Rica. When you log in to NitrogenSports an account is attached to your computer. Make sure to set up a username and password in case you delete cookies.

NitrogenSports is a reduced juice book with some features not available at most books. They have a chat box so players can talk amongst themselves. They also have something that all books should have in an optional two party authentication. There have been too many horror stories of accounts being hacked and this is a nice prevention measure.

Deposit and withdrawals are instant. The limits are based upon each individual player. The limits are stated next to the lines making it easy for many of us that have tried to make a bet and only going to the next screen stating that maximum bet is exceeded. Both decimal and American odds are shown simultaneously. There have not been any reports of slow pays.

If anyone has a question on why a book was given a certain rating, feel free to ask. An automated player survey should be up this week for those that would like to participate. The best information comes from the player.
So glad u made this thread. It's so much of a help to me and i found out about at least 5 great books just from this thread alone. Keep it up it's working.

Thanks. It's nice to have one concise thread where we can talk about all the books.
