Quote Terk on page 76 Multi-region architecture still needs some finishing and testing. I'll continue working on it in the morning so the final ETA on new servers is Thursday afternoon.

I am from UK Europe,
I am running my rigs all R9 280x cards at I13 and am achieving ave 4-5% rejects, in my cgminer window the rejects counted are a lot higher but that comes from untracked shares which do count they have just not been tracked by my cgminer.
My reject rate is usually just under the pool average, so it is possible to achieve this from Europe but you will have to look at your config file and do some tweeking.
Other than this when mining fast coins with low diff and switching coins it is to be expected to get some rejects.
If you dnt like that you are not been forced to mine here on clevermining, but could also try again when the other servers are opened, they are already up and running but Terk is first tweaking the software side of things before he unleashes them to the wild, ( miners. ) We would only have lots of complaints if it was done any other way.
PS all this info is on page 76 of this thread and we are only on page 77.
Let Terk get on with his side of things, and then it will be better for us all.

I tried every thing but it's still not possible to use it from Europe ? I have over 70% rejects on one rig and over 30% on another one, it's insane Even on middlecoin, I get between 2 and 6%. When will the EU servers come ? Till then, I'll sadly go back to middlecoin. So i'am working from germany and usualy i'am between 4-5 % reject. But i'am using cgminer 3.7.3 with xintensity and gpu-thread =2 with some HD7850 and R9 270 This is working much smoother with fast-switching multipools as cgminer 3.7.2.

This caused MEGA stales for me, like 40%. Not too surprising, given that --expiry simply changes the definition of what a "stale" share is. --expiry|-E <arg> Upper bound on how many seconds after getting work we consider a share from it stale (default: 120)So with --expiry 1 you're defining any share as stale if it's older than 1 second. Pointless. And probably doesn't even have any effect, because you're submitting it anyway (like you should). Yup. Seems my glee was shortlived. While I am not getting "mega stales", my rejections shot back up overnight. I must have made the tweak at the same time the pool changed to a slower coin. Gave me the impression I hit on my issue. Back to the drawing board.

Holy cow, this pool needs to find a way to decrease reject rates... around 15% here... really want to try this but reject rates are way too high. Please put up some server at US EAST, until then i will stay on middlecoin, getting only 1,5% rejects there.

if you bothered to read you would see that terk is trying his best, but as he's on his own there are somethings that are on the to do list and will remain there for some time.

Terk. this is not the point: if I get more btc on clevermining with 10% rejects than on middlecoin with 1% rejects, where should I mine? also high rejects may not always be fixable: it may depend on the coin mined.

10% rejectrate with 0.01btc/mh/day 1.5% rejectrate with 0.006/7btc/mh/day allergic for rejects?

I run GUIMiner-Scrypt (trying to learn SGMiner atm). I was running the newest version out with the green and white icon. I have noticed the stales I produce far out weigh the accepted I have been getting for the last 21 days or so. This is only an issue on my 280x's and 290's. 1 5870 and 1 6970 both run fine with the newer version. I tried dropping intensity down, overclocks down and everything else I could think of. I have been testing an older version I had on a flash drive from about a year ago for about 2 hours. The orange icon one. My stale numbers have dropped signifcantly so far. I am going to run over night this way to verify. Does anyone else use GUIMiner or is it pretty much just me? If so, which version do you use and what cards and accepted/stale ratios do you get? I'd be interested to see if anyone else has this issue and if this is a solid fix for it. Keep up the great work Terk! Remember; haters gonna hate! Off to bed. My Norco is making me loopy (maybe that's why SGMiner isn't making any sense tonight) And if anyone is interested - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=489404.msg5392264#msg5392264 so after a 14 hour test run I can report, so far, my stale rate went from over 55% down to 7-9% inside of GUIMiner. Also, my estimated payout showing on clevermining is substantially higher than it usually is at this time of day. To be honest, what it is at now is what I have been making all day and I am actually down 1 r9 290 atm (down 830kh/s). So switch to the older orange version and see if this helps you. I cannot find a version number anywhere in the folder it is located in so I am not sure how to identify it other than the icon color. Happy hunting!

Your kind of not getting it, it's not a new VERSION of cgminer it's a new branch of cgminer, so give it a new name, like the sgminer lot did.
