Sure vardiff matters, the guy just doesn't understand.

Vardiff does not matter for profits. It helps lower short term variance on stats and smooths out results for lower power rigs. That is why it exists. Again, profits are not effected by it.

And do you honestly care about stats? I rarely check the website. I just leave my computer on and let my 0.01 bitcoin payouts roll in multiple times a day. I would rather have Terk working on actual useful things like new servers, instead of making stats 2% more accurate.

my GPU rig cannot seem to handle a set difficulty of 512. on other pools at 128 or 256 it runs fine on all 4 cards, but at 512 GPU 2 is declared sick in less than 30 seconds

any ideas? its a sapphire R9 270x

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

That is odd. Hard to say without more information about your setup. If only GPU 2 is failing, it sounds like a thermal problem. Try jacking your fan up to 100 as a test. Of course it could be a myriad of other issues: not enough power, drivers, even monitor setup or could just be a bad card. Pure assumptions here.

I just checked 30 days stats and realized, that there're some unexchanged bitcoins from, for example, 2nd of February. It was a long time ago. Does it mean that miners would never get those money?

turns out a reboot did the trick for whatever reason. I had a similar issue before on another card where i was seeing only about 60-80% of the expected hashrate

however, some of these low-difficulty coins are wrecking havoc on my reject rate - 7-12% for the last little while, mostly whenever it switches to coins with network difficulty <50

Likely because your ISP is sending your packets through a shoddy route.
I get a 27ms ping and without any time outs.

You can try monitoring the route with something like WinMTR: http://winmtr.net/

Your TTL=45
from my side the TTL=57  so you are passing a lot of more routers...

TTL-(Time to live) is a counter so that packets will not live forever if TTL=0 packet will be discarded

Normaly every router your packet pass thru will decrease the TTL-Value by one (sometimes by two)

stay tuned

in windows try

tracert nl.clevermining.com

There is no need to increase TTL !

It's just a hint how many hops it takes you from your start address to your target address
In your local network you can see how you start just ping your router the TTL should be 64
so in your case it takes you 19 hops to the target. (TTL at the end 45)
Even if you would increase your starting TTL to 128 you will end up with 19 hops at the target  Roll Eyes

stay tuned
