The mint leaf was the direction taken because that's the direction we were given. Doesn't matter how many "ounces of creativity" you have if people disagree about the art direction. That being said, is this getting any closer for you? Those are incredible!With that, I think the green one will be better because it looks more edible. The edibility and gustatory aspect will help with acceptance by the masses. Green is fresh and tasty, while silver, nice too look at and is a nice colour, but it is cold and less appetizing. Green has the association with something nicer, so I think it will take better hold and gain more traction. I am in marketing, my two satoshis. I too am in marketing and that is a valid observation. But I don't think we've seen the final logo just yet, although these are very nice. I think something that focuses more on the coinage aspect of the term "mint". I agree. I think if it would be good to have a mint leaf to represent the energy efficient "green" aspect of the coin, but should also somehow incorporate the "minting" action. I recommend making it even more fancy, with gold trim, or guilded edges, needs some more spark and flair. Maybe put mint leaves to "dot" the "i"s in the text of the word. |
