Edit:  Now I'm having the same problem again.  Really slow, slowing everything else down, constant "Not responding" message, and doesn't reopen if I minimize it.  Anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?
Sorry, no idea. I'll ask some people.

Thanks.  I'll keep playing around with it post any resolution.

I'm not sure what the fuss is about with the premine. If I was thinking long term to support my coin I wouldn't spend it all the first month of existence. You need to be smart with your funds and not find yourself having to borrow money in the next couple of months for future development.

It's about transparency . Being transparent is being honest. Since they are not being transparent it's safe to assume they are being dishonest ie. selling for BTC for their own pockets.

My main point is that it should not be the right of the dev to not disclose such info. The point it that the premine is PUBLIC funded money, not PRIVATE. So why are the funds being treated as a private bank account? What is there to hide?

Public money my ass. This is the wild west of cryptos bitch! There is no PUBLIC money. No one is entitled to jack shit here, this isn't mommy and daddy or the government. This shit is totally unregulated. Public funds he says. Oh my sides.

+1 lol, don't dream about "transparency", no single coin did that, it's to shoot himself in the foot and give enemies munitions, only stupids will do it.

It's to the best is to satisfy people's curiosity, basically everyone wants to know how much dev took for themselves, the worst will be endless complain about how greedy devs are and how badly the bounty spent, how stupid the dev team's vision, look at x coin, y coin how great they do, why not do this, why not do that, all these craps.

Come on guys, if you don't like it, don't mine or own it, or do your own coins.

I left my wallet open for one hour and these appeared. It appears I have been given back-pay. So if any of you have not received minting that have been here since day one then I suggest you leave your wallet open for an hour or two.

Strange, were you mining on day 1-3?

I had been opening my wallet over the past few days wondering where my minting was, but I had only opened my wallet for around 5-10 mins at a time. It seems like you need to keep it open for a while for it to work, but I have no idea why yours has not shown if you have been holding since day 1-3.

Hmm, not sure then sorry. Try restarting your wallet, although you have probably done that already.

I do like to logos but the leaf logo is generic now, lots of coins are using it so I don't think we will stand out that much if we adopt it? It is nice though.

I had a dream that there was a pump and Mintcoin gained tons of exposure and the price of Mintcoin had gone up to 3,000 satoshis on http://www.mintpal.com:

Buy Orders

Price (BTC)               Mint              BTC
0.0003299             65509028      21611.4283
0.0003101             91000000      28219.1000
0.0003000             99000000      29700.0000
0.0002999            120005289     35989.5861

We should not be targeting Merchants. We should be targeting Charities and Non-Profit Organizations. These are the ones that need money. They are more forward thinking when it comes to free money. Merchants are not as forward thinking. Merchants think more about profits and their balance sheets. Charities think about where to get more free resources.

Dogecoin rose because of this, among other things, but it was one of the big exposures that brought Dogecoin into public view, when the community supported the Jamaican Bobsled team.

We need to reach out to the charities in our local communities. We need to tell them about Mintcoin, just a quick email will do. Then we need to tell them how it can gain exposure for their charities and how we will make an effort to get our Mintcoin community to donate to them with Mintcoin. We can take this further by contacting the local news agencies to report on these charities and this growing cryptocurrency trend.

I've been receiving PM's about this post, in particular the dream I had.

Basically, I dreamed that I went on the mintpal.com website. I looked at MINT prices and they were at 3,000 satoshis. When people talk about psychic functioning and dreaming, the general rule is that you cannot understand numbers in dreams. Be that as it may, I remember seeing 3,000 satoshis per MINT and then saying it aloud, "Whoah, 3,000 satoshis!" I then started selling my MINT at that price and getting an incredible deal. However, after all, this was only a dream and I am not psychic. It could very well have been 300 satoshis I was dreaming about, but unable to interpret properly because the subconscious mind is not able to interpret numbers properly. If you are seeing numbers properly, you are probably out of the dream state or out of the psychic trance state and are conscious, but relaxed. Anyway, this is all pretty much meaningless anyhow.

You might make another wallet on another computer if you can for your mining deposits for now, and leave your other wallet unlocked and don't put any more coins in there for a while.

Hopefully there will be an updated wallet out in week that you can move your wallet.dat file over to and update the blockchain, which should not affect your coindays.

Exactly.

I've sold off half my Mintcoin now cos this is not a good sign from silent dev on the premine. All we are asking for is a list of what has been spent so far.

If there is one thing this community hates it's premines and no transparency. Guaranteed this will be called scam coin if it succeeds now.

Anything I have left in Mintcoin now is spare profit so it won't hurt me much if it goes down. I've actually put a bunch of my mintcoin into black coin. It's very similar and has just gone into pure POS mode today.
