Hello all I'm new to the boards but am looking forward to being part of a bright future with Mintcoin. I deal in Art and Antiques and would love to start accepting Mintcoin in payment for items sold through midcenturygallery. I think Mint is very unique in that it is an environmentally friendly coin so It is very marketable. Anyway I hope to be added soon to the list of merchants that accept Mint!

How do we get this guy up and running so his business can accept mint?  This is exactly what this coin needs!

agreed, I am surprised that we are the persons that need to deal with this instead of the devs.

They do. Look at the first page under merchants. David probably hasn't seen his post yet.

Philip, I'm not asking this to be rude. I know you're 14, shouldn't you be in school?

haha I get asked that a lot. But remember I live in the Netherlands so the timezones are different. At this moment its 21:00 at my location so I am not at school, you see?

Bedtijd jongen!
haha

I see you on here at all hours of the day.

I stay up late, and I check the forums a lot, to see if something is happening. This is how I make my money so it takes quite some time.

Alright, lol. Just stay in school, you don't want to end up living in a van down by the river.

You might think of your self as very smart, but I think you better stay with your apps.

1. The amount of coins 100 billion or 1000,000 is totally irrelevant regarding the survival chance.
2. Stating now that you will sell on 70 sat is even more dump. The right moment to sell is the moment that development gets a downswing when rates are still at the same level.

Not once in anything I wrote did I assert I was smarter than anyone else here.

The amount of coins does matter when a coin is priced very low. The more coins that trade at a lower price make it very easy to manipulate. But you are entitled to your opinion as I am entitled to mine.

You can buy and sell the way that fits your style of trading. However, I trade on the upswing not the downswing, and I have my levels set to where I think Mint is going to peak.

In several weeks when Mint is in single digits and remaining there, I would have already cashed out and moved on to the latest revolutionary alt coin preparing to dump that coin.

Hi
Is there a way to check your current stake weight from debug console similar to other PoS coins like HBN, PPC etc

Thanks!

niothor and dille71 that is why I said 95%. We all know there are exceptions to the rule, and I was not suggesting all coins follow these stages. However, Mint is on track to stage 11 and I hope I am wrong. I would love for Mint to reach 1000+ sat and remain there. I will keep few once Mint reach 60+ just in case. But lets be realistic here, there will be 10 more Mint clones over the next several weeks. Some will offer more % in less time. However, I am mining another coin and buying all the MINT I can because I know it WILL go above its current level.

Think of Mint and other alt coins as a paid escort. You have a great one night with the escort and then you move on. You do not date or marry an escort, nor do you keep copy/clone alt coins for long periods of time.
Think of Bitcoin and Litecoin as a potential wife. You take a potential wife out on dates, you introduce her to your parents, you treat her like a Queen. Bitcoin and Litecoin are long term investments.

I don't even want to start how wrong your comparison between coins with which you speculate and escorts/wife is. Smiley))
But essentially , the number of coins , it doesn't matter at all and it has no correlation with the success of a coin. That's my opinion and it was formed long before doge was born Smiley

Since we switched over to pure PoS I can't sync any longer.  Suggestions?

I've updated the client, and added all of the nodes listed in OP.

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

Has anyone been able to mint coins with a closed wallet? I have kept my wallet closed for 3 days and there is zero evidence that I can mint with a closed encrypted wallet. I'll keep trying, but so far no luck. Devs really need to fix the encrypted wallet thing as well, the unlock button should only be a temporary fix.

Same with me, looks very generic unlike MintCoin.

estimate mintcoin price for next month Smiley

I don't think there is? I asked this question a few weeks back. Best you can do is go by the date of your first deposit.

Stop playing the Mint market and trade other coins as Mint needs about 6+ months to get a real value. Let the heavy duty miners and farms sell their coins and get them into the market.

Really the only time to sell a coin is after such coin first hits an exchange as the price is always going to be higher than the price within a few days or weeks or months.

Delete everything from the user/appdata/roaming folder except your wallet.dat file. Delete everything from the Mint folder where ever it is and start with a new download zip of the 1.5 wallet. Do not add the nodes as they are already included in the newer wallets.

Do not delete the wallet.dat file, ever, ever, ever and always keep it stored on a USB flash drive.

No it's not mate, they are dumping tens of millions at a time. That's not showing interest, that's throwing them on the ground, stamping on them, and then setting them alite.

They always do when someone with 20,0000- 80,000KH/s can mine millions of coins a day and dump them into the market. Just think of the farms as the Federal Reserve of Crypto, yes its a sad thought but they do have much influence over the markets.
