FYI - If you're having lots of rejects, use SGMiner 4.1 for mintpool.us
I am also having issues with the new pool. I switched over from the "other" multipool to this. Is anyone getting accepted shares?
I just got a few "Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted." are they trying to fix it?
minteresting posted this on reddit: I tried using the pool with cgminer 3.7.2, and was having major issues with rejects. I found people reporting similar issues, it's related to the stratum proxy software they are using and something in cgminer. I switched to sgminer 4.1, and it seems to be working well. There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Nice, Now with the multipool anybody that can't buy btc can still get mint through GPU mining, I expect soon every coin that is unprofitable to mine directly will have a pool like this. Topcoin is a prime candidate.

When that happens, I'm guessing it will be really difficult to start a new altcoin at that point. Just a guess. It's already so competitive. Getting dumped on by multipools will make it that much harder. |

Alright, the mintpool.us homepage now has separate links to the mintcoin multipool and the dogecoin multipool. Make sure your pointed at the right one guys.  Seems like the dogecoin multipool has gone up in hashrate a bit. |
