(cross posted on bitcointalk and mintcointal)

Hi everyone,
Lot of project happening with quite an amount of mintcoin as bounty (the mint multipool being the latest one)

I read some people are wary of sending money to non official persons like here
http://www.reddit.com/r/MintCoin/comments/20hiqy/bounty_500000_mint_for_a_mint_multipool/cg3dzfc

What I propose:
An official escrow to make people more comfortable with giving for project. I believe this escrow should take no fee - and of course being someone the whole community trust.
Several names come to mind but the decision on who will maintain said escrow (and be ultimately responsible for handling money) will be discussed internally.
What I need now is your opinion on an official escrow. This takes time to setup (not much, but still some) so I don't want to start such a project of not enough person is interested.

Waiting for your inputs.

Good idea!

Off topic - These dumps are actually doing us a favour - they are thinning out those sell walls quite rapidly. If people want to flog off their coins at 17 then let em, we have enough buy power and good news to continue pushing up. As Blackcoin punters start to cash out they will come back to MINT and that will drive up the price pretty quickly when we only have a few bitcoin at each satoshi increment.

http://mintpool.us/mint/ is the multipool for mintcoin. The site isn't completely finished (obviously), but if you want to mine, stratum+tcp://mint.mintpool.us:4444 User: your mintcoin address, pass: X

Hahahaha this is interesting I'm gonna have to switch my rig over when I get home from work!!

block reward is 1,mine for what ?
You don't mine for Mintcoin directly. You mine for the most profitable coin, then the multipool operator will purchase Mintcoins at an exchange with your mined coins and give the Mintcoins to you via the Mintcoin receive address that you have provided. It is a very cool concept, you can mine and mint, mine and mint, all day long.

I did this at middlecoin for a while and it paid off way better than the next best thing in BTC.

Doesn't that one pay out in doge?

I thought this the correct one?

just put in sgminer or cudaminer:

IF this takes of. the interest rate is too high.
Troll. nobody listen to his guy...he is always bashing mintcoin. Probably doesn't even own any and just spreads FUD and lies.

He WANTS to own some. Anyone taking the time to badmouth the coin on the MINT thread is either trying to get the price to drop and fill his buy order or is in dire need of a hobby.

I am also having issues with the new pool. I switched over from the "other" multipool to this. Is anyone getting accepted shares?

I just got a few "Stratum connection to pool 0 interrupted." are they trying to fix it?

minteresting posted this on reddit:

I tried using the pool with cgminer 3.7.2, and was having major issues with rejects. I found people reporting similar issues, it's related to the stratum proxy software they are using and something in cgminer.

I switched to sgminer 4.1, and it seems to be working well. Sgminer download: https://mega.co.nz/#!rVAT1C7T!hY5TQnUQybBLWzPSglaAZCJlxTHIT0W1pvFjubcfVuQh

Found from this thread: http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1xanpt/ann_sgminer_410_release/

Also found this: on http://www.reddit.com/r/mintpool/comments/20fgq3/all_i_am_getting_is_rejects/

Same as cgminer, but starts with "sgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mintpool.us:4444" DON'T add "Scrypt"

Try GUIMiner using the settings in the screenshot I posted earlier - It will work guaranteed - shares confirmed.
