Each country has a different learder. So there are different policies. Maybe learder of your country want to develop the country in a positive way. But maybe not in my country. There are some leaders who want to benefit themselves. That is the difference between Adolf Hitler and Abraham Lincoln

Many people say the government is not interested in cryptocurrency. Many people think the government has prohibit
crypto to protect investors from risks. Maybe in your country, that's true. But in some countries, especially developing countries, the government just wants to rob your assets. They rob publicly, lawfully and as much as possible. they are really bandits.I'm not afraid what they do. Because we have many ways to fight them. But this world is not as simple as you think. They can kill you if you are demonstrating.
You can ask any vietnamese that : Do you support your government ? I bet 99% answer is never. 1% remaining I'm sure they are goverment employee or their family. Wink

Every country has owned policy about the decentralized money,,some country bitcoin currency are ligalized to use as alternate to  their traditional paper money to buy good and services ,,but  if you compared to some country bitcoin are sticky prohibited to used as alternate to their traditional currency and cause to banned also to make sure will stop to run of their market ,,but in my country my government is not fearful about the decentralized money because  my government bitcoin will accept as alternative payment method and other service.

Well, politics is really scary the one who controlled the government. Whatever the action of the government it could be decided together with the biases and selfishness off the politician. It is a threat wherever you go.

I think government will not gone to the point of hurting or arresting anyone just because of bitcoin, they're just be threatened what bitcoin may do in the economy and what will happen to bank fiat currency...we just have to understand their situation as well regarding this matter.

Yes it is scary because governments has the power to ban cryptocurrencies. But before they will ban it they will consider if what will the effect of banning crypto. Crypto is a big help and it will improve our community.
Well, maybe in some places where democracy is a problem or an issue. Most government can implement regulation policies to kind of limit the activities but being a decentralized space, there is just so little they can do before they can eventually achieve any form of ban.

This is a huge community on its own and we have the freedom to make our own decisions and for the fact that it is not a country thing but a global thing, that makes it very hard to control and why would anyone then be scared of them.

What are you smoking this days dude?seems like you high accusing government of steeling money or asset from crypto users?i dont know where did you get this or i dont know if you are once a victim of this government bandits so youre very bitter in this kind of situation but for me stop that bad image to government because theres only few whos doing such

Government is not really Scary.. They just want to regulate crypto currency transaction visible in the financial market trading of their country. They want a revenue from any transaction like taxes, etc.etc. Crypto currency is a digital system on trading , investment, HODL, a Decentralized system, with Blackchain in placed for technology security. It is a non issue whether the government is scary or not, what they are after is the Regulation on all crypto transaction.

Your commentary is based on one country alone. Maybe in Vietnam, that is what they do. But in other nation, people are free to do what they feel is good for them. Like the Democratic country which let their people decide what they want and what they like

So, what is your point?

I live in developing countries actually, sometimes I hate the rules set by the government but sometimes I also need the government to meet my needs. To be sure, the government has a people who are experts in the field of economics, and related to the regulations they issued against cryptocurrency I will approve it. They have a good prediction of the future of cryptocurrency, so it is not worth me to blame. Although cryptocurrency gives me income it does not mean I will indulge my lust to abandon what the government says.

So far my country has not had a catalyst for anything for the cryptographic market, so I can still trade on online trading sites. But I hope that my government will officially accept the password to have more coins come to the country.

This is the case in many countries. But I would like to ask you what you were doing in the election? Every nation deserves a government for which it votes. In order for you to be able to use cryptocurrencies without restrictions, you must unite and require politicians to fulfill your requirements. Everything else is just a concussion.
That would make it easy in places where vote actually counts.
Have you not heard of occasions where elections are rigged and the same level of corrupt politicians who care only about themselves, keep getting recycled over and over again ?

It is understandable that those we vote can actually bring about the change we want and how things would evolve. However, let's not forget that people change easily and governments do have a way of corrupting those who want to be corrupted.

In my own opinion, government is not scary because they funds are coming from taxes that is being donated by the people who are working on the corporate world so if people will prefer crytpocurrency then there is a huge chance for them to lose their business like banks.

I think since cryptocurrency is anonymous, it would be so hard for the government to track it nor control it. The government might do mistakes that could break our trust but I believe that when it comes to cryptocurrency, it can't do anything to control it.

yes government is very scary in terms of creating their own laws, government can actually take down cryptocurrency but since there are a lot of people who have business related to cryptocurrency like ico's then government will just receive complain if they will illegalize cryptocurrency.

It's not that scary if you think positive to the government. Government's rules are meant to protect their people, they don't want to let their country become worse because something that causes the economy to become much worse. If it makes the country goes better, I'd rather go with it.
You are thinking of an ideal government that only does what it is best for their citizens, but governments are made of people, and many people are full of greed and envy, governments once in place will do anything to assure their own survival, this is why the Venezuelan government has not admitted its mistakes and step down from power, they are determined to remain in power even if that means the destruction of their country.

Yea I too think they are scary at the same time they are quite
helpful in a lot of manner in my country. In matters concerning
crypto and the government, a lot of countries and governments
have already supported cryptocurrency while others still hasn’t
really fully banned any, there’s still an open undecided notion
to be made on it. Governments can be scary if your on the other
side of the law.

Government does not want to let its citizens lose assets. because crypto is different from stock market. price is very fluctuating.
and also they still assume anonymous payments can be used for transaction for weapon , drugs and illegal thing.
so they still have not provided the regulation. this is based on major facts in my country.

But in some countries, especially developing countries, the government just wants to rob your assets. They rob publicly, lawfully and as much as possible. they are really bandits

I'm not so sure there are countries that want to take advantage for their own. everything for sure is for country and their citizen it self .

I don't see any reason for the Government to be scary. Wether it would ban crypto or not. It is their job to help keep the country in peace and stability. If cryptocurrency may not be beneficial to the economy then certain actions must be done. It is not the action of just one person but of many who thinks over the situation so expect that it should be just fair. Why aren't other countries not banning crypto? It's because it is not a threat to their economic status. Just like ours!
