So you're from Vietnam?

You say that in your country the government robs what they can get from the people. I don't know much about life over there, but for countries that do indeed to that, it's so stupid because it cripples the country from innovating and succeeding. They pretty much handicap their country.

But as long as they're on top, they couldn't careless how horrible the life of those in the country is. That's what one has to understand.

Many people say the government is not interested in cryptocurrency. Many people think the government has prohibit
crypto to protect investors from risks. Maybe in your country, that's true. But in some countries, especially developing countries, the government just wants to rob your assets. They rob publicly, lawfully and as much as possible. they are really bandits.I'm not afraid what they do. Because we have many ways to fight them. But this world is not as simple as you think. They can kill you if you are demonstrating.
You can ask any vietnamese that : Do you support your government ? I bet 99% answer is never. 1% remaining I'm sure they are goverment employee or their family. Wink

In my own opinion, government is not scary at all, they have the power to ban cryptocurrency by creating their own laws but still people will be always using bitcoins because they want to earn more income rather than working on corporate world which gives a small amount of salary.

Why do fear or scared about the government , the government protect thecitizens of the land , the government is furious about bitcoin because there might be instances that people will be scam through this bitcoin ,because they xan not regulate the bitcoin, so the government are not to be scared.

Mostly all of us,have different situation and culture, when talking about economic investment and platform about cryptocurrency, maybe you have a point thats some of those progressive countries want to criticize the crypto implementation, but not at all because there are some progressive countries woulds embrace the goodness of cryptocurrency into there country and one example of this is the european union, otherwise there are some implication about  there digital system, but only there purpose is to criticize those illegal operation that can impure the whole image of the cryptocurrency investment.

It just happens when you have a corrupted government in your country but if you have the people in your government which i think is the leader who can manage everything without hesitation and fear. Everything will be controlled using the simple system of law and it has to be centralized in order for them to control almost everything.

Government are planning to legalize the cryptocurrency if they ever know how it works, but some of them didn't know how, that's why they have to prohibit it from the people.

Of course, if the government showed more interest in bitcoin and crypto currency and tried to work with it, then the progress of development rose several times.

I don`t think that any govenment officials can track and steal your crypto currencies,if you store them on a decentralized wallet and you keep your private keys in a safe place. The Vietnamese communist governments might be really scary, but they can`t find your crypto. The european govenments aren`t that scary, they will never try to rob someone`s financial assets.

Government is not scary, what we must be scared of with this cryptocurrency are those hackers.
those stealers of money with hidden identity at front of their computers are the one we must avoid.
Oh man what you are really talking about. Hackers are not to be afraid of. They don’t get your money unless you are a big whale or big investor to them. They don’t want to take money from a person who is hardly making some bucks after so long time. They mostly target big fishes in the pond so that their calculated risk can become fruitful and they can be overwhelming with huge money.

I would think that it depends on the every case in the country, because for example government of USA is quite dangerous for Krypto if they would be against it. And government of some small country cannot be able to overcome crypto.

There is a difference between being angry and being scared. The way I see it, the government are angry with Bitcoin but not all of them. And whatever reason why they are fighting Bitcoin is for their own good and not for the people.

And like you said, in developing countries the governments are fond of oppressing the citizens and ripping them off and rendering most of them useless. When you’re using Bitcoin no one can touch your money, you’re completely in charge and no one knows how much you have and how much you don’t have.

You're right. In my country, the government is the bandits. Sometimes they have to enact laws that are difficult to understand. They want us to pay more taxes, but they can not help us when we are having trouble

Different government have different agenda with bitcoin. Some of government work with it while some of government work against it. Develop country like japan work with bitcoin to develop their country economy. Some government sacred bitcoin because bitcoin directly affect their country economy and financial growth. They scare because bitcoin affects their country banking system and their country currency. Sometime bitcoin involve with many serious crime which is the another reason behind this topic.

And because of the incognito, it's hard for the government to control the using of bitcoin, crime can use bitcoin for money laundering,...

When the system is faulty (capitalism, fascism, socialism, communism etc) there is no way the leader can be trust-able, that also means corrupted leader are the ones that will use his power in the government to institute whatever he want
Yeah, and the fact is the system has been faulty for a very long time, monopoly and corruption has been the norm of the day at the detriment of the masses and for that fact, why would anyone ever want to trust anything that comes out from the mouth or action of goddamn corrupt politicians that only think about all the funds they want to keep looting. Good thing they are losing the power we gave to them and that makes it even more interesting.

because of the incognito, it's hard for the government to control the using of bitcoin, crime can use bitcoin for money laundering,...
You should not forget the crimes you are mentioning are not the innovations due to the introduction of bitcoins hence governments never need to bother about the evolution of bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.

Concerning, I think that if the government saw a threat in the face of crypto, it would have done something for a long time already

My answer is yes, why? For the reason that, people voted for them to have someone that can lead and can protect however, from what's happening in my country Philippines mostly from government agency is not working for the benefit of the people. Mostly of them are corrupt. That's why they can't blame us if we have don't trust to them. Hoping they'll do their jobs very well to make my country a better place.

We have most corrupted government in our country and that is why such new advances are never accepted by them. I have observed that whenever there is something new coming in the market and people are getting attracted to it, then government will shut such programs immediately. They just dont want general public to explore their new assets as government is not going to benefit from it due to lack of rules over it. I am pretty sure most of the countries are having same sort of trouble. Thats why government is not liked by many of the people in country.
Even governments that are not as corrupt are very worried about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general the difference is that corrupt governments do not have any need to save face so they can ban whatever they want while other countries still need to pretend they care about the freedom of their citizens and they can only impose regulations instead.

They are not scary for me, they are just doing their job, we will be just scared to them if we are not following the rules by them especially when paying the tax, that is why if we don't also want to feel scared all the time we have to pay and do what is right no matter what.

The government was created to serve people and it will always be for the people. Some are banning cryptocurrency because they are not fully aware of the convenience of having cryptocurrency in a country's system. Just take a closer look, only developing countries are supporting bitcoin, countries that are not fully developed are scared to embrace changes that is why they are against it.

That's just nonsense. Hackers (i.e. thieves) don't care who they steal coins from, they just want to end up with filled wallets. While hackers attacking one small fish doesn't make much of a difference for them, correct, it starts to become a difference when they target hundreds or thousands of smaller fishes at the same time. Thousands of smaller rewards make one big reward together. Noobies just need to click on a link or download whatever rubbish software that infects their system. It requires basically zero effort from hackers at that point -- they just wait and see how much they generate. It's like passive income for them....

Of course the government is afraid of crypto currencies because they can not be controlled and difficult to predict for the future. The government thinks the crypto currency will disrupt the economy of their country and therefore they are afraid of the crypto currency.
