Bitcoin is a different thing on buying gold/diamonds they are all fully controlled by the government it means centralized, unlike Bitcoin it is decentralized which means every one of us may use this on an illegal way of a financial institution. [...]
Sell your gold and diamonds now, they are all fully controlled by the government

Nowadays, for the opportunist people, nothing impossible for them to deceive others here. By making fake news especially in doing fake volume was easy for them to do it I guess. And according to what you had showed here it is obviously not the real image of Bitcoin as well.
Honestly this is pretty typical. Blabber on about whatever the title was for 100 or 150 characters and move onto the next. It's on topic ish, it's almost cohearant and that's how they get away with it. What a joke. Another one: We have added a Ravencoin faucet to freefaucet.io
Kudos to the devs, our community LOVE your coin, it's actually our 2nd most popular on the site!
No doubt that's good effort to introduce this coin to new people too the more people will get involved it will help to increase the community size. Raven is big coin so that it is nice to collect some coins for free but better to buy at low price. Always quote someone else before you ramble about nothing. That way your post looks bigger. Hahaha.

Everyone posting their real selfie here deserves an honorary mention in this thread. I was just thinking that... Ay caramba. The average merit of an actual selfie uploader is about 0.1. (Edit: just saw a Full Member do it, increases the average to about 8 [facepalm]) I guess some people don't care if others know who they are or not, and good for them I suppose. Not sure anything good has ever come from somebody uploading pictures of themselves to this forum, though...

Exemplary post by a zero merit legendary: And what is the meaning of this project? Can someone explain in unintelligible words?
These ones came to mind: Also they sent 138 merits to 2 members (149 to 6 members total)... despite never receiving a merit?? https://bpip.org/profile.aspx?p=AsaturGuess they must be a merit source...

Really? I could have sworn I only got 100. Guess I'm probably mistaken.
I don't think you only got 100 initial sMerit. You have given 498 merit 389 times, to 215 profiles ( 2.3 merit/profile). We can deduct your earned sMerit of 232, you have given 266 initial sMerit. Initial sMerit depends on your activity points. Exact formula: yearActivity = activity in the last ~year, max 378 freeMerit = the merit (not sMerit) you started with modifier = 0.1 if member 0.2 if full member 0.25 if sr member 0.35 if hero 0.4 if legendary
return (yearActivity/378) * modifier * freeMerit So the most you could get is if you were a Legendary who maxed out your activity points in the last year, in which case you would get 1 * 0.4 * 1000 = 400 sMerit. Note that I later made an adjustment giving 500 extra merit to some hero members, but no extra sMerit was given here. I'll probably publish a dump of the initial sMerit at some point.

The most honest Ethereum token yet, a project called "Donate Me": Hi my friend,
In general, the project provides a token that anyone using it will give them some of the token in exchange for receiving financial support from others. My principle in this project is based on honesty. The fact is that now - I am alone. - This project does not have a team. - This project does not have a site. - The future of this project is unclear. - The level of participation of others in this project is unknown. - The profits and losses of buyers of this coin are not clear either.
You donate Ethereum to him, and he gives you some tokens, and that's it! Most straight forward project ever.

At least it's not called "Scam you" token You know what's funny, a few years back there was a " Ripoff Coin," and people bought it, and that's exactly what it did! About 10 pages in to the 53 page (!) ANN thread, people starting complaining about how "man, this is such a ripoff," because it had a wonky block reward and halving structure. I don't think its worth anything now, but if it was, it wouldn't be true to its name. The third iteration of the ANN has a pretty humorous team member listing.

We should not holding smerit, it have no usage really. It will be gone eventually if we not give it to others. Lets be fair and give smerit to peoples who create awesome information in this forum. Bitcointalk forum will keep developing if the peoples always create a useful threads and posts.

I think I've found a winner. Any solid facts to justify the sudden pump of market these days? Looks very unnatural with no signs of catalyst whatsoever. News said 20,000 bitcoins are ordered but around 100m to trigger a 40billion bullrun? That's really fishy considering they can profit way more than their buys, what are your insights on this? Organized whales or institutions strategy?
I think it was because of the news that China governments and regulatrary agency has shut down mining activities. Many traders and investors see this a good news and since this is going to lower supply they believe that it is time to invest because price is going to surge. Senior member... 2 years on bitcointalk forum not knowing how bitcoin works... How is it even possible to be such an ignorant? How is it possible to write 2700 posts with such low knowledge? I think that if he only read OP before posting that's 2700 OP that he must have read - lots of knowledge that bounced from his head.
