I am one of the believer of HODLING.  As what you have said, we are still on the early stage of blockchain or I'de rather say the bitcoin era. I believe that there are a lot of coins and tokens that is worth a HODL but I also believe that not all token is for HODL because really some of them are just scammer.

I believe in holding but people should know what coins should be hold in the market because there are lots of coins that it is not worthy to hold because the time will just run without earning profit.

If a person does not have much time but is passionate about investing, buying and keeping is the best option. At the moment the price is relatively low so if it is me, then I will buy and hold at the present time.

Holding is the perfect strategy not only it is a very easy strategy to implement for those without time you are also going to get better benefits than most traders since trading is a zero sum game which means that if someone wins then someone else needs to lose so by definition by just holding you are ahead of 50% of the traders and that is not a small thing at all.

I am definitely one of the believer that believe in long term holding. Its the best strategy in crypto if you do not know how to trade. However, you must be sure that you are holding good coins and valuable coins with good tech and good team than just holding random coins in this market.

I'm a real fan of holding. I say so because I have been holding some of my coins almost 7months now and I still wanna hold them till next bull run comes 
Patience is the key to LONG HOLDING and if you sell in lose you are a real looser. Because just like in other endeavours crypto also has ups and down where you need to wait till you comes to summit. Road to summit is not easy but if you can hold up till then you will be a great trader.

until now I still hold some coins that I believe h will the price will rise to be higher. it's just a matter of time until the altcoin price becomes higher, and makes the altcoin price to be higher. it is a boon for those who are patient in holding the coins.

That is the good strategy. What maters the most is what you buy in the bottom. The kind of crypto is very important in this strategy. If you buy Bitcoin or ETH or litecoin, they are having a good status in the market and you can earn big by holding them for long term.

However investing in coins at low price and not backed by good project can just waste your time and will give you nothing else. Better go wise.

Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?

Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?

I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect

The fact that we're talking about technology which is very dynamic, hoddling will be really a myth since tech really needs to mvoe forward. As you see in many new crypto, either they bring new one or replace the olds. Those that really survived are the platforms that others used or new ones to be used.

Blockchain is new technology and will take time to prevail in the world and for people it will take more time to understand this technology. Cryptocurrency is a part of blockchain and the future of it is very bright. No doubt bitcoin is the leading crypto in the world and most people invest their money in it but Altcoin also holds a big part of investments. They have great potential than bitcoin.

Yeah i believe on holding as long that asset have big potential in the near future..  I gained profit on some of my asset by just holding them...but most of all assets bitcoin and ethereum are  still my best choice to hold.

For me, theres no other coin that I love to hold rather than bitcoin and etherium. Yes, I do believe in holding. It is in holding that we profit more and relax. As you can see bitcoin price rise now.. so the market volatility would expected to goes down and high again so holding would be much fun and exciting. If we want to profit more lets keep on holding.

Most of the traders who actually wants to earn profit when the market prices are dumping is just holding their coins in order to avoid losing their coins due to dumping of prices.

I believe in holding all my alt coins.  especially any that I know have good potential for being worth more someday farther down the road. and I look at them as sort of a savings account and last resort is to ever sell anything if I don't absolutely need the $ for something right now.   

Tho I also have had pretty strong hands with other things besides cryptos and I still have a small stack of silver that I have had for 30 years. :-)

Trying to hodl all the alt is crazy (my opinion) It is better to look out for a few good projects with great potentials, strong active team etc - a coin that is perhaps undervalued (meaning you bought low) and hodl waiting for a time it will moon. Hodling a few coin will give you opportunity to monitor their progress. Others are better for daily, weekly, monthly trading... You can recircle it buy low, sell high and buy low again. .. While investing the profits in the few coin you believe in for the future.

I don't believe in hodling (too many altcoin).

Holding is very important as far as crypto trading is concerned. Usually crypto market and the prices are affected by positive and negative news,both plays important role in price determination. Due to high volatility Holding is the only option left to earn some money. Long term holding in my opinion is very effective compared to short term holding.

HODLING is good, I can’t be relying on just one source or way of making income--- so I trade and I also HODL some Bitcoins for when the price goes up. But if you want to do HODL, you’ve got to be careful, always set target and don’t be greedy.

If you don’t want to be among those that will be complaining about losing more than 50% of their investment then you better learn to be cutting your loss whenever the price is going below what you expect and invest it back once you see that price is going back up.
