Hello people!
Was looking at CMC and was wondering few years down the line what we will be able to see in this list and how long it will be?
Reality is we are very early in this industry and the pace at which projects are coming up and the technology is changing does anyone believe in HODLING cryptos anything other than Bitcoin and Ethereum?
I feel it's a buzz word used to create a FOMO effect
If u are holding strong projects than u can make good profit in long run but if u are holding shitcoin than u can loose all of ur money. I lost 95% of my investment in holding Rise coin. |

Hodling is profitable in long run because cryptos is in early stage and still there a lot of money left to flow into it. The whole projected and potential market hasn't been targeted yet. That's why I am bullish about cryptos in long run. Price will eventually grow if you ignore these short term trends. Look at long term chart and you will realize market is still bullish.  Yesterday I read through an article by LindaCryptowhere she talked about buying ETH, DASH and other top Cryptocurrencies at dead cheap prices some years back omly to sell within a short period of time (for small gains). She bought ETH at $11, If she had held it until now (Even though Ethereum has dipped today) she would've still been in huge profits. Hodling hasn't been really helpful in 2018 though. I remember when Wanchain was at $9 and everyone was shouting hodl. I was fortunate enough to sell. Today It's like $1. So my point is, I believe hodling is the best option if you bought and it keeps going down. Never hodl when in profit. |

I actually do so, but sometimes I feel that I believe in future profits only to comfort myself and my feeling and in reality nothing may change because of that...

I believe in holding because there's no other way to save your funds but to hold it in the moment. Especially when we see the crypto market in always fluctuating. So much better to hold what we have as long we can't see the market is not alright.

If you planning to holding other coin instead of bitcoin and ethereum just invest to waves, ripple and litecoin this coin as far I know is good to invest. But if you want that coin you can make a research to the coin that good to hold. But better to invest the extra money that you incase you lost money you have another money.

I do believe in holding because it is the safest to do in an investment rather than doing the day trade it is much riskier we might loose our investments in just one day. And before we invest study first which coin has the higher possibilty to have a higher value.

Me,as an part of this community i have a strong faith and i believe in Holding idea's of cryptocurrency,because evertthing is in allocated in proper ways and a proper time,so therefore for me holding is the best idea to preserve all your asset or capital in order to not loosing them at all than to sell it in a lowest price. |

Yes I beleive in holding because I witness the success of other people who used to buy different alts when its price is low, hold it until its price goes up high. It is only last year when he sold his alts and earn big. It is one of the reason why I was motivated to be in crypto. But the reality is, it is hard to do this thing, it is hard to keep holding when you saw the market kept going down. |

It's also hard to believe in holding a long way to earn a bigger amount of money because I'm losing the price of that coin or bitcoin so you do not really think it's worth it at a cheap price.

If you don't believe in holding than maybe long investment in crypto currencies is not for you. You need to pay attention to the prices and the peeks and hodl until it is time to sell it. It may take 2 or more years. That is normal. If you don't have the time and nerves don't invest at the beginning.

Holding is one of the best strategies in the crypto world. Patience is required to excel. Take a look at prices what it was years back and what they are now and know who made the most profits. Holders are long term investors and they make good profits when they invest rightly and in top projects. Holding as well has its pros and cons as well

I think FOMO is by the owners of the BTC and ETH are afraid to create, it directly affects the price on the market. |

Well, holding is something which is very essential if you want to succeed in the crypto market. I believe the time is money, that whether you invest money in the crypto or invest time in holding the currency, is one and the same thing as it's the holding that provides you with bigger profits. But if you are impatient, then the crypto market is not for you... |

many people believe holding because currently holding can be a form of controlling assets, so I think with holding we do not fully sell low-priced sales. we can make sales waiting for high prices in the future ...
Sure, sometimes, during bull runs, it is always sensible to get out of the market without being greedy and look forward to buying lower. It has been like this for a while now, and this is one thing we all expect to take advantage of. It is not even about the belief anymore, but has a lot to do with just doing so since we simply do not have much choice based on how volatile the market is and if you cannot trade, the best is to just hold on to whatever you have for the long term. |
