what do you mean, "not sure if it is a coin"?
Technically none of them are, they all are virtual payment methods.

XRP is traded at TheRockTrading with a huge spread if one is looking for profit,
but you can trade your xrp for many crypto and fiat currencies in your wallet, without fees or hassle.

If you manage to integrate Nxt, with its brainwallet, xrp should not be far from there(although now i'm talking out of my ass Grin)
Oh dear. Did I list Nxt.
I can't take it out of vote list anymore, so if shareholders really want it,
we need to integrate it in our server.
Don't know how, but I think we will get help for that if we need.

Well, while you can only have 30-50 BTC clones running on a server, you can have thousands of Nxt clones running on the same hardware.
Nxt doesn´t need much cpu or ram to run, nor much bandwith to operate. Yes, it is a new technology, so it should be more work than just copy and pasting your code, but I think for the amount of money we gave you in the ipo, this shouldnt bother you too much...
If shareholders want it, we will add.
I don't vote at all.

Please consider adding:

Noble Coin - Has it's own market place and very active dev and community. Market place items (Amazon gift cards, etc. can only be purchased with noble coins or bitcon).
Ripple XRP - has good potential like NXT.
GPU coin - Is opening a store front in which GPU's can only be bought with GPU coins.
LiteBar - only 1.35 million coins and active dev. Think BitBar.

Since we will be adding a lot of coins in the exchange, i would like to request add for Pawncoin and GPUcoin.

I would not be able to research each one of them... if you know the coin listed please state why we should add it and why not.

I only voted for 5 coins... i don't know about the rest.

Msg me if you want me to put anything here.

well I guess it doesn't matter...
Would that be possible to add Bitleu (BTL) to the list. It is another scrypt-jane coin.

I have 60 shares and dont know what coins to vote for. Tell me!
here is my way:
1. go to http://coinmarketcap.com/
2. scroll down and click on "View all"
3. click on the top of the table  "Volume 24h" to see the highest volume coins
4. Choose your requirements ( for example all coins with a 24 Volume higher than 100k$) and vote for this coins

5. You can look at all coins volume/marketcap and decide which coins you dont want on the exchange(for example coins coins with a volume lower than 1000$) and vote against them

All coins which are not listed there need to be checked another way or you could say that such coins have not enough value and vote against them.

This needs some time but i think its better to vote on every voting than not at all.

for 60shares that's a lot of work...

Also one must keep in mind that people deals large amount in place they know and trust.
The new comer to this business won't get that much and betting only large volume coins may not be necessarily a good idea.
That's why it is good to have also some coins difficult to trade anywhere else (even if they are shitcoins and actually why would we care if they are traded)
I mean, people have to have a reason to chose that place and not another.

No, I have just been given permission to moderate the twitter account until it has been integrated into the exchange. I will also be working on the alcurEX subreddit once I've become a moderator on it.

+1440 on active devteam supporting any coin added, also trade volume and community.
And yes, please avoid on any new copy/paste coin that pops out, there are so many scamcoins out there!!

Some sort of quality control should be implemented by the team.

Quick info about alcurEX site.

Final deadline to finalize code is 2014-03-27.
I believe coders can keep that.

Then we will check all functions and audit security.
I believe we can open exchange on ~2014-04-1.

Then, can we make some test with small group, before we launch?
PM me, or MCR if you want to join in test group.

Do you though about an emergency plan in case of disaster? If the exchange get hacked and lose coins, what will happen? You all know that in the last few weeks several exchange got hacked. Each of them reacted differently with more or less success. You should be prepared, customers will ask more and more questions before they trust another exchange.

So what is the plan? Who will pay for the lost? Will you communicate the progress (or even the lack of progress)? At what frequency? Will you keep the coins in hostage?

Related to this,
I wonder what would be the cost to insure our deposit? I was reading about Xapo.com online vault. They claim to be very secure (of course, like every other business!) but to truly inspire confidence, the bitcoins are insured. The annual cost to use the vault is 0.12%, but this include a full insurance. " The insurance is provided at no charge to Vault users and covers all incidents that are not caused by you. For example, the insurance covers attacks by hackers, theft by a Xapo employee, a break-in at the physical vault location, and our bankruptcy. In this event, any bitcoins you lose will be replaced by Xapo. "

I wonder if it would be possible to insure deposit? Of course the cost would be charged to the customers, but I'm sure that a lot of people would be willing to pay a small price for this insurance.

Hi guys,

I've compiled all the information released so far by MCR and halibit into a single FAQ on the alcurex subreddit. If you've been keeping up to date with the forum then there's probably nothing there that you haven't seen before but i'll be updating it regularly. Check it out here:

Thanks,
