@halibit, all that info should be clearly posted here, at the OP and definitely at Cryptostocks.
Right now you have locked your shareholders at CS out of every information, started a new locked forum and are holding a closed beta.
You should have posted that info for actual shareholders at CS, yesterday.
The last piece of informatipn towards shareholders was on april 3rd. You guys have postponed this projects so much, without any substantial info given. MRC claims to be out for a month or so (as you said for personal reasons) and he left you in charge of this project, a currency and a currency exchange, and you guys apparently dont even know each other, why would he trust you? You are the one who is talking with the indian(!) programming team, over IRC, but nobody really knows much about anything. I find hard to believe that all these devs here, with their paranod attitude trust just some "big" 25% shareholder.
Is the beta starting today? How long will it last? Where can people test it? When will Alcurex be operational?
I firmly believe that these answers should be communicated to shareholders at CS, where your shares are being sold.
Setting up another forum, with 40 people enrolled and making up as this project goes along is really not looking good.
You are right about the lack of info on cs. Thats all. How can you know or why do you associate that the indian (!) programmers team cant deliver good code? In my eyes that looks like racism. Have you ever worked with them (indians) or with code delivered by them?

Have you ever worked with them (indians) or with code delivered by them? I do. Everyday. I am an IT project manager for large clients and all our code is written in India. There are great professionals there who get it done right and on time. You can get crappy code or programmers in USA, Germany or Japan. Depends on the company and the people you have selected to work with. Racial discrimination cannot be an excuse.

What I see is that they are not thinking about what they are doing, just coding, like writing am email. We have several partners in india with different daily rates, they all lack of precision. Sometimes we get really good people to work with us, but the waste majority is worth exactly what they get, not a cent more. One time we got code that wasn´t even compiling because of typeos. And this has been already reviewed by one of the indian managers over there.

In 90% of the cases and especially when you work directly with developers they will execute a request 1:1 and will not think "outside the box" or anything. They would not spot an issue until you point it out, or be proactive in any other way. I am lucky that now i have a good team lead who is very proactive and saves me a lot of time in error checking and writing documentation and etc. Either way blaming it on the coders is no excuse, the "front mane" is the one responsible for the project. Enough off-topic, the beta of the exchange looks really good! I hope it does not stay in beta for a long time.

@everyone hi guys, sorry about the indian remark, i realised now how it sounds when someone reads it. It was coming only because i read either in this thread, or the mrc thread, or the alcurex.info sitea comment made by halibit, where he was referring to the coders as an "indian company". I was under the impression that the coders are based in india, nothing more. I did not intend to offend anyone, i am sorry if i have done so. English is not my primary language, so sometimes i phrase things wrong. EDIT: added link to the comment

having tried a bit the beta, I found it looked pretty nice (even though they are some bugs, which is in any case difficult to avoid, that's the purpose of the beta... better late than crappy...)

I wonder if we will ever get an update with a new target release date. Now that the exchange has been in beta for a few weeks maybe they have a better picture where they are and what is left.

Any news from the op? You are more than a month late with the exchange and the levarage option won´t even be implemented in the beginning.
So you should update your stakeholders at least!
