Hi, I just saw on the webstite that:

"Fees and Comissions

In order to pay for server space, bandwidth, programmers, designers, and other costs, alcurEX imposes a standard: Fee – 0.2% - 0.5%. fee on every transaction performed by all users of the website. This transaction may vary and may be different for each individual account."

Isn't it a bit high compared to competition (ex: mint pal 0.15%)? Is that justified by the USD market and the future leverage option?

Also, should I consider Alcurex more in competition with Bitstamp and Bitfinex or with Mintpal and Cryptsy?
The trading fee is a solid 0.2%, which we consider to be fair when taking into account our future expansions, USD markets and security.
This is the same standard fee BTC-E and Poloniex have. Bittrex also has a fee of 0.25%.

alcurEX is launching as a competitor to altcoin exchanges listing smaller coins.
We will start competing more with Localbitcoins and Bitstamp through our future expansions.

Thanks for the explanation! I suppose the leverage option, if implemented, will have higher fees as well.

https://alcurex.com

ALCUREX Exchange is now open for trading!

The site might need a few tweaks somewhere but it should be completely secure and functional.

We will start by adding one new coin each day starting tomorrow (It's already very late here in Finland)

Happy trading and please give us feedback on how on the exchange is working.

Wow mcr is back?

Only one question: Why would i trade on alcurex? Nobody knows about it and microcoin has been dead for 2 -3 months now. No innovation for the coin.

The wallet generates a new address for each transaction on the same account.
This is being fixed right now, but there won't be enough time to add any new coins today.

Please tell us whenever you encounter a bug or if you have any feedback in general.

Welcome back... Now we just need to work on marketing.

This and we need to put buys and sells to create at least some volume, no one will be willing to trade as long as there is 0 volume.

When I click https://alcurex.com I land on https://alcurex.com/index.php/crypto/index/ (WELCOME TO ALCUREX). I then click ''MRC - LTC'' and URL still shows https://alcurex.com/index.php/crypto/index (MRC - LTC). If I now click on ''alcurEX'' or ''TRADE'', the URL and page is the same (MRC - LTC) - doesn't go to ''WELCOME TO ALCUREX''.

Maybe because I'm, not logged. But URL for first page should be https://alcurex.com and not https://alcurex.com/index.php/crypto/index/. And for trading pair MRC - LTC not https://alcurex.com/index.php/crypto/index but https://alcurex.com/mrc_ltc or https://alcurex.com/trade/mrc_ltc or https://alcurex.com/crypto/mrc_ltc.
And you should land on first page if you click ''home'' or ''alcurEX''.

Right now indexpage is just welcome text to see when you come first time or logout and destroy sessions.
Back to indexpage (alcurex.com) link will be available when we have static index page. We are working on it.
After that https://alcurex.com will be show in address line on the first page.

Exchange is build to using sessions and the market can use only throught .../index.php/crypto/
There is security reasons for that.
There is no static addresses or functions reading post data like .../MRC_LTC etc.

There are many "small thinks" to do, and as we all know, altcoin projects never ending. It's more like living process Smiley
Any way, I I'm so glad to see alcurEX well secured and running with fast stable trading engine.
Rest parts are just small challenge.

What I hope we can make on next step is add interesting coins and start promote site.
I'm little busy with fixing code, but there is few business oriented people already in our team and more are welcome.

Planned projects we can launch after several update.

Now I will start coding "incoming transactions info" and after that we add first "new" coins to the market.

The wallet generates a new address for each transaction on the same account.
This is fixed now.
Old address you may have, are valid too,
New address will generated only if you press "generate new".

The exchange looks really good! Well done!
Not much going on there at the moment, but that will come with time.
Me personally i am lurking arround everyday but don't dare yet to transfer a lot of funds to alcureX.
Maybe next week when i that see it works fine and there is trading activity.

Have you considered Google Authenticator as 2FA login?
I have to say that i find the e-mail thing a bit anoying.

Unfortunately the adding of new coins will have to be delayed again. There are some problems with 2FA and e-mail changing.
The first new coins will be added as soon as these problems are completely fixed, which is most likely tomorrow.

We are mainly going to add new coins that are preferably not on any other exchange yet.
We believe this to be the best strategy to start with until we have more volume and services.

What about adding Qora? They are without exchange right now, and doing it on Alcurex will boost the volume and give recognition.
When they were traded, their market-cap was quite significant - in the first 15 if I recall correctly.

So you are intentionally planning to be lower on the coin quality standards than any existing exchange.  Sounds awesome.

I can think of any a handful of decent coins that haven't made it onto an exchange for one reason or another, but I'm assuming your plan is to target 0day coin releases and this will be shitcoin launchpad.
