"Stay away from bitcoin. It's a mirage." - Warren Buffett
Check.
But apparently he never bought Facebook, Google, Apple etc either, he has no feel for techs so stays out.

3k is not news it's a prediction. 3k in September?! You were saying 10k by year end a few months ago what happened to that?!
Chinese and gox exchange weirdness stole all the momentum out of the last run. next run should be "freaking obvious" by June. Due to seeing how external factors can take the legs out of it though, I'm just gonna cautiously hope for 5K on that one, then we get a "crash" back down to 2.5K and we'll get a few months there, then maybe run on 5 figures at the end of the year, but that's not really "due" to peak until into Jan or Feb probably. Anyway, it's showing a sort of a sociological phenom, how people get burned out, then enthusiasm gains momentum gains again, and it spreads literally like wildfire, one person talks with two etc, confidence builds, the fundamentals provide support and off we go.

It doesn't really matter what side of the fence anyone is on at this stage.
One undeniable truth exists for us all, be we trolls or fanboys, and that is; this thing is coming to a head next week whether we like it or not.
GOOD LUCK
edit: minerpart, you should try to keep up with the news in Bitcoinland as the price will see $3000 and not $300, and that will happen before September. My guess is the next run up will start within the month.
Now i know you are delusional and are living within what I like to call the "bitcoin bubble" - much like the republican bubble....

Perhaps you posted your response before catching up on the entire thread and realising that my 'delusional' opinions are in fact tamer than those shared with a number of fellow bitcoiners who paint an even rosier picture of what is to come for Bitcoin. Big lol to the bubble in the vid though, I found that very funny, even though the American politics went over my head somewhat.

From what I have understood you can only trade mastercoins, not securities which you make from the mastercoins.

But apparently he never bought Facebook, Google, Apple etc either, he has no feel for techs so stays out. Disregarding his own personal investments, his advice will be taken onboard by millions of home investors and serious institutions. The problem is not getting Buffet and his holdings behind BTC, it's that his advice will be listened to.

His advice was clearly not taken on board by the millions of internet users who know better. 'Serious institutions' have plenty to gain from ignoring the echoes of the old guard. He's a dinosaur. Stop flunking innovation Warren. Move on. "I would say there's no-one here that can understand......, err some new internet company,..". There is always something dodgey going on when people start to quote themselves for traction and legitimacy. Hmpff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrSB1sLgWLE

OT: From what I understand Buffet was speaking of Bitcoin as an investment tool when he had negative comments about it. When he was talking about it as a technology and an innovation he didn't have much bad to say about it.

I dont see that as a problem
So consuming less power per GH and being a few months ahead of AM's chips and considering we are breaking the 2$/GH/s barrier you still don't see this as a problem? You will when it's too late.

The critical number now is w/GH, not $/gh - but ActM should be buying GH for around $0.2-$1 (if not less) 0.77w/gh isn't impressive. Its ok, but nothing special.

gjp - forgive me if I don't get too excited by your prediction of great things. I'm not wanting to get anyone down here, but look at this quote and then think again if it's worth getting excited right now after 2 projects cancelled and a huge loss of coin on Gox. I will get excited when/if the situation actually changes - predictions, you can keep them. This quote is, yes you read it correctly, almost a year to the day old. A YEAR. SPRINGFIELD, MO, – March 23, 2013 – AMC a hybrid mining and development cooperative has announced today that they are in talks with a Major Semiconductor Company which can provide ASIC's with lower up-front development cost, time, and reduced risk which are greatly reduced over other ASIC's. AMC said "With their simplified design flow, the time from RTL to device tape-out is typically only five to ten weeks for prototypes. This enables AMC's designers to bring new Bitcoin mining products on line quickly; then rapidly develop derivative products to cater to the Bitcoin's changing market requirements.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=158806.0

But what's out on the market isn't relevant at all. Bitmine.ch also advertised 0.3W/GH and they only got 0.9-1W/GH/s. What's important if ken can deliver or not. It seems that other companies with a better track than AM are having problems with such low consumption, but somehow you think that in 1-2 months you will have your 0.3W/GH hashing.

No i am not thinking 0.3w/gh i am thinking higher but i still think that something better then the the current market is comming soon. And i have faith in ken that he can provide it.
Update: Also I will not be posting my announcement as i said i would be as that i am no longer needing the results of the announcement that i was looking for as it is already taken care of now !!!!!! ( For those of you in the know, everything is now in motion for my project )

A year behind. I'm surprised the bankruptcy hasn't been announced yet. Where is all this money coming from?
Our track record is now worse than BFL. I'm ashamed to have been apart of this.
