That would work in your favor if Bitcoin was worth more now because you'd spend less of them on the miner. The miner will never earn more Bitcoin then you paid for it. You would earn more profit by holding your Bitcoin than you would buying the miner.
It makes no sense to buy the miner instead of holding coins. None. It would only make sense if you bought it for less Bitcoins then it earns. Currently it does not do that.
If I earn 5 Bitcoin or kept 6. Regardless of whether the price of Bitcoin is $10,000 or $600. Keeping the 6 is always worth more than the 5.
There is a slight caveat to this, in that if you were in a position where you were unable to buy bitcoins for fiat ( there are still places in the world where this is not easy at all) and you could still buy a miner you would be better off buying the miner even though it won't ROI in bticoin terms if you are unable to purchase coins directly. This is obv just a small subset of people but worth noting anyway.

103 Items in stock - the number seems to be increasing...
Still 103 in stock. Yesterday ActM sold out ~100 miners in a matter of hours. Now we have had 103 miners in stock for 12 hours and noone has placed a single order. Seems fishy to me.

Maybe the items in stock get updated manually, otherwise someone could simply create 20 fake accounts and "buy" everything. And maybe because it is weekend(or still early morning in the US) the number of items in stock don't get updated?

I guess that could be the case. However, does this mean that 104 or more orders could be placed when only 103 products exist? I just assumed this kind of thing is fully automatic.

Yeah, seems only two possible reasons for that, either he's trying to make us look like a copy and paste scam ASIC site, or that's what we're actually using. However, I can see the need to keep hashfast association quiet and unconfirmed, there's a legion of angry bitcoiners with bleeding butts who have a bone to pick with anything hashfast, whether their chip inventory was truly excess and independent of their fulfillment issues or not.

Ken, Can you confirm is this the board you are selling or are you using a reference design provided by HashFast? http://hashfast.com/shop/yolievo/Or did you just randomly design a board that is roughly the same size (estimates by picture) with screw holes in almost exactly the same location? I mean it looks like you tossed a metal plate on the back of the board and called it your own design. Why are you concealing this information from us. Honestly the longer this goes on the more and more it feels like you are either lying to us intentionally or at the very least deceiving us on purpose.

Perhaps a few whales had insider information on 28nm cards being in stock before the announcement...

Apparently some lone individual bought 95 of them. The one guy just posted that he canceled his three. Ken took his 100 that was for mining and put them for sale. So we have 103. And probably two of you bought a board, or one of you bought two. I feel bad for that guy who bought 95 boards.
So what we're seeing here is that we don't even have custom boards? He bought 10 packs of boards that ran 1,800 a piece and is trying to sell them for $3,000? Seriously? No wonder he doesn't take a picture.
I'm starting to think his new facility is a house we bought him. 3,700 square feet is an average house with a basement.
I swear, every time I think it might be turning a corner it actually just gets worse.

Anyone know what is going on with the shares? Are we still headed for cryptotrade or are we waiting for a CC to be favored in the market?

Ken says he can't do anything until his lawyer says it's ok. Supposedly. Ken says he wants to wait for Colored Coins. Though he's bent slightly to the idea of moving to ct. But look, before any of that happens, dude needs to first confirm the shares and create a proper list. At the moment he can't put anything on any trading platform because he would need to have the tender list. He's said people should take pictures of their transfer on Bitfunder to provide some level of proof. So you might do that. If you believe that it'll ever actually happen anyway.

Our website clearly states we are using a "Fast-Hash One 28nm ASIC" For those of you who don't know, ASIC stands for Application Specific Integrated Chip/Circuit

Thanks for clarifying what an asic is. Fasthash is totally different from Hashfast in every way. It just sounds the same and has the exact same description word for word.

the specs on the hashfast website do not match the specs that ken has posted.
Maximum Bitcoin Mining Performance: up to 800 GH/s (with a proper cooling system) Typical Bitcoin Mining Performance: 675 GH/s +/- 20%
Ken was quoting more like 500Gh so either we are really really bad at reselling and whilst the units are in our hands they diminish significantly in hashing power or Ken's boards/chips are not the same as hash fasts
