(Back to the lightbulb jokes)

Q: How many Bitcoin geeks does it take to change a light bulb?

A: One.  No, thirty-two.  No, fifteen.  No, two.  No, seven.  No, four...

There's nearly 8.5 million Bitcoins in world-wide circulation.  That's one Bitcoin for every 711 people on the planet.  The only question is:  How do we enrich the other 710?

A fool and his money are soon Bitcoin miner.

So I used this one line twice today not because I was planning on it but it just came out of my mouth.  It was VERY effective.  I had a whole conversation about 5 min with one person.  For the second person they asked for more information and I gave them three websites which I wrote down on a receipt for him.  The second person was a cashier and he saw my "bitbill".  I started explaining to him and what hooked him in was this line:

"Bitcoin is going to end all wars."

Yep, I know it's a shocker line but I believe in it and it just makes people curious about what it was.  Once he was hooked the final push was me mentioning how "bitcoin is controlled by the power of mathematics."

Use my one liners! Worked for me!  Smiley

I'm not endorsing the idea, but it's not inconceivable.

Bitcoin is bigger than the Internet.
That's technically impossible considering it relies on the internet.

duuuh my phone relies on it's battery, but my phone is bigger than it's battery Cheesy

If we go non-technical though; it's not an unreasonable tagline.

Bitcoin trading is limited by the physical boundaries of the Internet.  Except it isn't limited at all; physical bitcoins are made and could be used without being near a computer.

In that sense, Bitcoin is bigger than the Internet.

Since it's only a PR line, it's not really worth worrying that much about.

Well, if we include casacius coins and paper wallets and cards, bitcoins can go in and out of internet: in that sense, we could contend that it is bigger than internet.
I would not go down that path as a primer though.

Gold is a physical commodity useful as a medium of exchange.
Bitcoin is a digital commodity useful as a medium of exchange.
Gold is the pillar upon which all financial instruments are created.
Bitcoin is the pillar upon which digital financial instruments may now be created.
