Dunno what sets the lowest price. Some teams decide on 50 or so, so that everyone can chip in. Not sure which model is the better one.

It's either 50 or 100 from what i've seen from most ICOs. And while i agree it's good to make a decent minimum for everyone to chip in, going too low gonna create a bad image, like putting up a sign begging "Please give us any money"
