I just started mining on http://p2poolcypherfunk.cloudapp.net:36363/static/index.html with 280x.
Here's my .bat file for those who are new to mining:

color 70 (affects the color of your CGminer - this one is gray with black letters)
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://p2poolcypherfunk.cloudapp.net:36363 -u YOUR WALLET ADDRESS -p YOUR PASSWORD --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8192 -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --lookup-gap 2

This will give you best results for 280x

Happy diggin' yall Smiley

I can confirm this from my own experience. I threw in --shaders 2048 for good measure, and more importantly --gpu-engine 1065 which gave me the best hashrate but I doubt this will be the same for everyone, just note this overclocks the card and will lead to higher temperatures; try to keep it below 85 deg C and you should be OK, if your card runs too hot try undervolting it or just cut back on the engine clock.

Cypherfunks Pool

http://funk.novahash.org/ is up and running now.

PPLNS, 1%,
Stratum, Vardiff

Register and set up your workers.

its extremely slow.

It's overloaded at the moment. Didn't expect to be the only pool at launch.

Took ages to set up account and now just cant login keep getting token expired notice because it's taking so long. You are being well and truly bombarded my friend.

+1 on token timeout

+1 Token timeout for me as well

Just taken an hour to join pool and set up account pc was about to go through the window Grin. If I see another token expired notice I'm gonna lose it....

WORD!

The token problem is fixed now

The coinbase takes 50 blocks to mature (and thus be spendable).

yep - perfect for 280X / 7970 under windows. I'm using clock speeds of 1080:1800 for 7970 and 1112:1835 for 280X-DC2T by asus Wink
Thank you for joining our pool :-) happy hashing.
a little hint: queue 0, scan-time 2, expiry 8 (or something along those lines) - it helps lower your rejected shares!

I've just done a little restart of the server to implement the changes for a working block explorer!
Please don't panic. It's all good and stable - just wanted to give you guys the ability to explore through the block chain!

If you see HW error or any other weird issue with your miner - that might have been caused by the p2pool restart (not planning on doing it again!) ... a quick miner restart solves those issues.
Blocks are coming in hot now :-) 3 in less than 10 minutes.

Thanks for the awesome work florian!

Absolutely! We were looking for a great coin that we can show our efforts and support for - and we haven't come across one yet until now.

EDIT: if you still have issues with the p2pool and your miner - please restart your cgminer. it will fix it immediately. My apologies for the hassles.

Only 6 hours and already thinking about dumping?

No, just want to have some mining calculation in mind.
Tnx.

phew, blockexplorer mistake seems to be found Cheesy (weird addresses^^)

it's not u0028 but u001c for the address_version

So, both p2pool and blockexplorer working smoothly together... if you haven't restarted your miner software since restart of the p2pool (only done it once some time ago now) you really should: it gets you better hashrates and less rejected^^

EDIT: We are amazed at the hash rate you're throwing at our pool! Blocks are coming in very nicely. On average now every 7,5minutes! And the power keeps rising with more blocks for the p2pool!

We'll let the dust settle a bit. I'll then start approaching some exchanges somewhere next week. Great to see the mining pools doing well!

Two ways to think about it Wink

More coins - more dumping ... more time - more spread of wealth Wink
