Got in on this one yesterday a pretty nice amount.  Nice move.  Agreed on seeing proof of work die... the miners create new POF/POS hybrid coins, mine them all, and dump them on everyone. They're the parasite of the crypto space... though all the early adopters of POS coins tend to hold all of them which leads to the same problem... NEM requires 3 million for a supernode, and xtrabytes has closed static nodes and wants to charge a fee for new ones that goes to the miners... the people who got mass numbers of coin for close to nothing don't need even more payouts... so in the end you do save power but end up having the same problem... the whales own all the early coin and keep the rules slanted to their favor.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if we see mining come to a complete end in say, five years. The coin devs that move to PoS, like Ethereum and Doge are smart, I hope they succeed (miners could just chose not to mine the PoS trigger block, which would leave any coin stuck in PoW).

Yeah energy is only a small part of the puzzle. Autonomy is where it's at. Anyone who's holding a PoW coin is just constantly dumped upon by the miners. Staking puts an end to that.

It's interesting watching these trading bots... despite the buyers already asking higher prices the bots put in sell orders for 19000 which is below the asking price and get taken out immediately. Effectively giving away blackcoin cheaper than they need to because their programming isn't keeping up with the rising price.   Don't get to watch a pump in progress very often. The buyers literally chase each other upward in price and suck up all sell walls. Interesting to watch.   30K sell orders get taken out in seconds.

Whats evident right now is that supply is choked because BLK is traded on 4 chinese exchanges with decent volume for years. The chinese are pushing this, they aren't stopping soon.

I always wonder who the sellers are here. You know this coin is going up to 30,000 sats with a 50M+ market cap so why would you even sell here? Day traders and bots I suppose.  If anything this will pull an ark and be an easy $100M coin.   It's interesting how technical analysis tends to prevail no matter how sure a thing an investment is.

Black Coin is the first POS coin and also it will be the first coin to be able to integrate with Bitcoin Core. Not only does it have BLACK HALO smart contract system but now it is compatible with most blockchain technologies allowing for new platforms to be built on it.

I doubt that anyone can tell that. Only thing I can say that Blackcoin is still undervalued and some blackcoin copy cats have like 30 times greater marketcap. So it's certainly not the technology that dives or stops the pump here.

I will guess roughly alot more if you relate it to stratis and if its correct to say the development of blackcoin is superior to its forks then yea, it can grow far more.   Speculation of charts, volume and lots of other market factors is secondary to fundamentals I'd say.  Stratis is the 8th largest crypto and Blackcoin after its rise is 66th, so lots of potential left.    I dont have the facility myself but a reasonable trade might be to short Strat and go long BLK, markets arent always logical and of course there are always other factors but that could work.

Just looking at price recently by days, we beat a May downtrend.  Deep confirmation of that downtrend (as support found) looked very negative at the time, this was before and during early June but staying above April highs.  Recent closing daily lows matched a line of support aligned with much of the last month as well as being a 23% retracement of weekly highs.   Rapid movement overnight (China?) We spiked through an old medium term uptrend, holding back at 61% shortly and then reached 100% retrace of the previous long term high.    Pullback from there is normal, we are at 61% currently and I view it as bullish action above the trend since march even if down to around .000128
