I managed to get some fills at 2900, never ever thought this could happen. Got a pretty fat bag now for the next run up whenever that might be. I do believe ETH turning POS will lead to a lot of new people learning about POS and what are the benefits. My bet is on coins like BLK having a revival eventually. Some of us still remember the time when coins are pumping automatically as soon as they announced switching from PoW to PoS. That did not go very well, but times change quite fast in crypto and history often repeats itself.

Yep I also remember when POS in Announcement details was a big deal, part of the hype to a coin launch as it was widely seen as the next big thing.   Well you cant rely on hype to last or to truly make the difference but POS is a worthy standard and ETH joining POS I agree will bring alot of attention and once again you may get that hype factor.    I do believe actual actions matter more but still markets move in cycles of attention like that, such is speculation.

The reason POS matters is its more efficient, anywhere in capitalism efficiency always counts from the biggest firms to the smallest.    One of the hard fork BTC coins is trying to bring back GPU mining I read, so there is a desire to have more power with the network of users it seems.  POS is the best bet for that imo

Help me please to understand where is my money. I'm in panic.
My cold wallet show me all my transactions right. But total amount is much less that should be.
And available balance is much less that should be.
Cold wallet synchronized fully.
Why cold wallet doesn't show full balance as it should be.

If you want to easily check, goto a BLK block explorer with your address.  It will show which stakes actually settled, along with other transactions.  Your local copy may not be upto date, but the block explorer represents the world view

I did find the explorer misclaims a couple of transactions of mine which gives a different balance.  It was like a few out of years of that one BLK address, not amounting to much.  Mostly its the easiest way to check status quo

Hey guys, using v1.2.4 wallet to stake but it takes about 5 times more memory than bitcoin-qt..  800MB seems a bit high, is that normal ?

^^ You need wider context then that.   Nice graph but do place it over the full term of the coin, its not like its Bitcoin and the range is ridiculous.   Ive got some coins from years back and so will others so previous volume and price action is relevant to possible movements this year also.

I only mention that as we broke a downtrend this year and that was significant since it had been going on a while.   Right now its back to year start values as the rise of bitcoin value in dollars puts pressure on this blockchain in relation to that price.  Also the whole hard fork means free coins idea in peoples brains has distorted current action also, its kinda nonsense but I feel thats how markets move.  The lowest common denominator basically.

Another graph that would be relevant would be coin value in Dollars and also CNY and wherever else volume is significant, its commonly done for bitcoin but not other coins like this.  I believe this kind of reference is still relevant and would add some clarity to the picture.    Im not aware of all graphs for BLK that might be available so post it up if you see it, does no harm to post as much info and data as possible

POS coins becoming more popular, probably because of ETH but who cares BLK was one of the first POS coins with small inflation. 0.20 $/coin  is bargain price. This coin only needs more attention, and good PR can make miracle.

how do I do a check wallet or repair wallet ?? normally you'd just do it from the debug window but it isn't an option.

I had over 7000 BLK staking now it's around 6400!! WTF!!! whenever this would have happened on other coins a simple wallet repair fix's it, I saw "command line" in options but have no idea how to use it, do I just put them in the .conf file?

Place -rescan in the launch options will usually readjust any local discrepancies.   To do that on windows just create a shortcut to the wallet exe and then in target -recan just goes on the end.  When the wallet starts it will double check everything and might take a while to do that but should be ok to just leave it to check back on later

I have been experiencing this issue - Lore wallet showed wrong amount of coins, and -rescan didn't help.

I managed to have balance corrected by dumping private keys and importing them into a fresh wallet.

How should i divide this amount on different addresses or this is not necessary? What can I expect daily? You can store 10,000 coins all in one wallet and there is no advantage to splitting them into different wallets that Ive heard of.   That is quite alot of coins so it should stake every day or every other day, it depends on how much is stored on exchanges and isnt staking so your % is higher then

Actullay we got alot discussion on slack about blk project...and the latest one is updated at blackcoin twitter....by the way blk slack already full...cant except new member...their dev suggest using Gitter for new platform...

In the past there was a lot of development ongoing. Saw that the price is under 3k sat again.
