Meh, they said they got something in the works with announcement on Wednesday. I'd rather wait and see what we have in store. I think we have good people on the case.

hey guys and gals so im thinking the idea of a multipool is a great idea but without some serious wedge its not gonna happen so here is my suggestion.. this coin is great, yes but we all want to see some value to it so here it is
BLACKCOIN multipool (on a budget)
quite simple i am going to create a worker that will mine at middle coin. these guys multipool and turn coins into btc which is paid directly to the btc wallet. im going to use these guys because i know it works and its easy for people to direct miners
the profits from people directing miners to this cause will go directly to buying up blackcoin on whichever excahange is cheapest. you will be able to check to the blackcoin address and the bitcoin address so you will see that im not a scammer or wanting to do this for my own gain but purely because i believe in the coin and i think this will put value to it.
what to do with the coins once we have them? well im very willing to hand them over to the devs when they need them but really the idea is just to amass a stock pile which will 1. create rarity 2. keep trade flowing into this coin 3. have a fund to build a real multipool which does just this therefore creating value to the coin.
now i know people are going to be skeptical so im happy to take votes over time with what to do with the coins and see what this great community thinks.
so you dont even have to mine here if you dont want to but you could always have this a failover if your pool of choice go's down.
i havent spoken to the devs yet about this but i think its a great idea. it will start off slow but in time this will create a greater value in the coin
i will set it up and get all the info you need to check and see whats going later on today.
What's the difference between this and a blackcoin multipool? Except more manual work and increased fees. Well this is very true. It doesn't have to change you can keep this method if people don't want a more professional set up. Do you think it's a good idea? If, for some unknown reason the multipool doesn't launch then it's of course an alternative. It's very tedious and requires a lot of trust, it won't be very attractive but it will work.

I like dedicated BC pool because it will give constant buy support for coin. Middle coin like other multipools are ok but it took time to get reputation same will be with BC pools. Sometimes is better do manual exchange becouse you avoid mistakes like eg. Trademybit mined HEX for 2days and price dropped to 0... their script blocked and they were mining 2days while price was 0... and their script stuck shows 10sat price... LOL

Well worth mining Pot for BC at the moment, Still very impressed with Bc's speed on transactions, AUR is the worst i have found takes about 4 days from mining to exchange .

Need to wait 8 hours now? No, actually. I'm not sure, but you have to encrypt and unlock your wallet to start stacking. 1. Encrypt your wallet with strong password. 2. Go to Wallet -> Help -> Debug Window -> Console 3. walletpassphrase YOURPASSWORDYOUUSEDTOENCRYPT 9999999 true 4. Now your wallet is ready for staking

No, walletpassphrase is a command. Don't forget CTRL+L when you are finished to clear your debug window!

No, wallepassphrase is a command in the console, dont change it. The only thing you change in the line i gave you is your password you used to encrypt your wallet. REMEMBER THE PASSWORD YOU USE TO ENCRYPT! Otherwise you will lose your coins if you forget.

Is there a way to automatically set up the staking when logging on to Windows?
I don't have the PC on 24 hours a day, so have to remember to unlock every time. I see there is a way to open the wallet client on login in the settings, but this is not turning staking on too?
How to stake automatically when logging into Windows?
Thanks.

You can Windows-key + R and then type msconfig and configure startup items there. Just add Blackcoin-qt. But, you don't have to have your wallet open at all times. If you want lots of staking: keep it open. But you get the same amount of stake BC when you leave wallet closed for a month and then open it. It's about coin- age I believe.

Can anyone please confirm this as correct? Doesn't it have to be unlocked to stake?
