Finally...I'm gonna try it. Does the stake work? could not answer this myself, this is what "noerc" and "janko33" told me in IRC: it does not stake. it is implementation wise able to stake in future but right now several checks are skipped that are required to perform the staking process

I started selling a little but dont worry im going to buy more if price goes down. Being 100% in BC isnt good coz u cant buy when they are really cheap. Now I have ~20btc to support low levels like 6500-8k You should get a healthy return on an investment like that, if you are lucky enough to get coins that cheap.

Today I got lucky (somebody dump 200k BC to 8500 sat and I had small buy wall there) Nice, i bought most of my coins at ~8500 and lower in early september when i saw the price predictions on dailyblackcoin . The problem is that i would be a good trader if i had more money (trading without hurting blackcoin's price, giving support at low levels etc...) . That's life . But i need to say that i learned a lot about digital currencies without the temptation to invest and risk too much. I would have done big mistakes. It made me a bit wiser. And i learned not to be too greedy. with kind regards, randywald

I had my blackcoins stolen months ago when i stupidly didn't check to see if a zipcoin wallet had a virus. I am going to try and build this coin again as its one of my favourites besides whitecoin, mintcoin, Ecccoin, obviously bitcoin, litecoin, dogecoin, judgecoin and now UCicoin
I still have the wallet to prove it had a virus in zipped format.
Keeping an eye on blackcoin need the new windows wallet but the page to download from is currently not loading, any info..

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

I did just check it, http://www.blackcoin.co/ is working fine. Here's the download link (no worries, different domain but it is the official one, maarx is one of the guys who maintain the BLK websites).

New wallet causing such a rise today?
Don't know, maybe some people got their wage and instantly bought blackcoin with it . BTW, nice trading today, sold at 11k and set buy order at 10k. After 30 minutes it was fulfilled.

I honestly believe this rise is not based on any specific announcement. Unlike other coins we are not relying on checkpoints to create pumps. We are just hard at work at improving our infrastructure and organically building the community. We are seeing an upward trend over time because of that.

We are just hard at work at improving our infrastructure and organically building the community. We are seeing an upward trend over time because of that. This. Going this route might take years before we get back to the ATH for the coin... but instead of a bunch of bagholders and/or people profiting off bagholders - we'll have decent, yet moderate, returns for holders/traders and exits for those that need to buy things (kinda like a currency actually). Although I'm cautiously optimistic, I'll need to see several more weeks before I'm ready to buy back in with most of my BTC. I'm happy with my holdings, and would like to accumulate some more - but we've had some serious dumps and drama before... and likely will again before everything is smooth sailing (if that's even possible in crypto). As of now however, I'm back to nothing but BC/BTC in my portfolio... latest XMR recovery allowed me to unload my bags. Now just need to cost-average buys in BC over the next 6 months so I don't get caught in another spike.

digicidial: Absolutely, natural rise is the best for a coin to hold value and price longterm.
