If I were a gpucoin.conf file where would I save myself to?
Right next to the bacon.... MMmmmmmmm.... bacon. If you are in Windows, user folder/appdata/roaming/gpucoin You have to unhide the folders first. Thanks, do I need to have vertminer saved to the same folder? I have the conf file in the gpucoin location, but when I start the vertminer the vertminer.conf file takes over and points to a pool. The .conf for vertminer should be in the same location as vertminer.exe, wherever that may be (C:\vert or something like that). You can specify which pool you want to mine at within the vertminer.conf Thanks I was trying to mine solo, but I can't seem to launch vertminer to do this, am using the following as the conf file in gpucoin appdata folder: rpcuser=y rpcpassword=x rpcallowip=localhost rpcport=3344 gen=0 server=1 addnode=188.226.166.12 addnode=107.170.227.7 addnode=188.226.169.204 addnode=128.199.220.62 addnode=107.170.36.126 Do I need to instead put that in the vertminer folder or is there something I am missing?

Nope, but there should be vertminer.conf file in the folder where vertminer.exe is located. I don't know what's the best setting for your GPU, but I can paste an example, if you can't find the file. Edit: Also, do change rpcallowip to 127.0.0.1 And perhaps add daemon=1

Who is going to stick around and mine this when they could be mining something else. I can only see testers mining this and it could take days to get to block 2600.
I like the method, but should have been set to start at block 1000.

I use TC 20481 and Intensity 21 with my regular settings from scrypt. I get between 390-440 (depending on memory hynix do much better) per card, and 0 HW. Also from what I have heard the amount of RAM you have matters (not confirmed though). I would say your TC is set incorrectly. Phad

Diff is almost 4 already, and no one is making any coins yet. I would say you should be in a pool for sure.

Nah, that stuff happens to all of us. Now, as I'm still not sure if there are different forks (forgive my lack of trust) or if my wallet is working as it should, can you or someone else send a small amount of GPUC to GSA2aesx9fyuFcmJ2RkvHczBn7QepSNn9x ? I will return it, I just gotta know that it's working.
