Modded guiminer for all of you having so much trouble..... Its my own mega compiled version. Only -n coins when making new miners with this.

Set thread concurrency at around 10,000 for 270x, 7870, 7850, set intensity at 18-19.
for 5850,5870 thread at 3200 and intensity at 15-16.

Separate miner tabs for separate video cards. take advantage of the right click copy miner setting for multiple cards.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Hey, it's working.

I tried these settings.

Code:
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
COLOR 0A
vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://gpu.oakpool.com:3355 -u j23a.1 -p x -I 12 --thread-concurrency 6000 -d 0 --

gpu-platform 1 -w 256 -I 13 --gpu-engine 1000 --gpu-memclock 900 --thread-

concurrency 8193 -g 2 --auto-fan --lookup-gap 2

I just changed the memclock from 1500 to 900

I'm getting 132 kh/s, and I imagine that's low for two 290x, but I don't care. I'm just glad it's working.

Thank you for everyone who helped. I honestly truly appreciate it.
Someone may have already asked but how much dram memory do you have installed? Also try removing the -d 0 tag from your config file If you have onboard graphics go into the device manager and disable it uless your using it to run your monitor.

I have 6 GB.

Edit: I thought  you said Damn Memory. But I have 6gb of ram, and plus what the 290x has, which is 6gb in all I think for two.

Ive struggeled ALL day with different miners and other poblems regarding NFactor and scrypt-jane. Everything resulted in a driver crash, black screen, BSOD etc.. you name it
I then tried different types of drivers and versions which also didnt help at all. I have 5 R9 290 running in two machines, one with 24gb ram and one with 6. Both ended up with the same problem whatsoever.
I came to a conclution that ive been pushing it too hard... you might try this

Block 2600 ETA trending sooner than earlier today...about 7-8 hours remaining:

04:31 GMT Monday
12:31 EDT Monday
21:31 PDT Sunday

How is that? There are 431 more blocks. Assuming an optimistic 50 seconds per block, it'll take at least another 8 hours which puts us around midnight EST

I'll start accelerating near the end i'm sure... i'm planning to put my rigs on this pretty soon, so that i don't miss the switch.  And thus others will do the same.

So far there are 40gpus in stock (or ordered) in the shop, I hope there are a little more than that in the world...
Also, I don't think he has promised to supply everybody in the world.

Nah, that stuff happens to all of us. Smiley Now, as I'm still not sure if there are different forks (forgive my lack of trust) or if my wallet is working as it should, can you or someone else send a small amount of GPUC to GSA2aesx9fyuFcmJ2RkvHczBn7QepSNn9x ? I will return it, I just gotta know that it's working. Smiley
