It depends upon how much risk are you ready to take. Saving accounts have no risk and predefined interest rate. But sometime that interest rate is less than the inflation rate and what you get in the end is less value of your saved money. Cryptos give high rewards but high risk and you can beat inflation by deflationary model of cryptocurrencies. Even if you aren't ready to take high risks, instead of going with saving account, go with other assets like Gold, Mutual funds etc.

If you really have that huge amount of money i encourage you to invest into bitcoin other than any banking system because investments into digital currencies really generates income in the shortest possible of time. if you invest into banks you will get only a small amount of the funds that they have generated from your principal deposit. Why don't you invest into bitcoin and own your own investment.

I don't know what is your country and how much yearly bank interest. But i recommend if you have 2K$ you can invest with a lot of future brightest coin, don't invest with only Bitcoin.Even you can invest only with Ethereum and LiteCoin because those coin are huge potential.

but advice is not a problem right, that's the reason why op asks, because a person's answer can be a reference for them, first the bank has some investment facilities such as savings with interest or long-term savings where you can not take it within a few years but the profit is not will be too big, different from bitcoin investment

Try to offer your uncle a compromise, make two investments: make one investment of $1,000 in the bank, and a second investment of $1,000 in Bitcoin. All people are inherently gambling and this will be the perfect solution to the situation, he will necessarily agree, and you will get a chance to prove to him that you were right and the investments in Bitcoin were the more correct decision.

For me i think putting your money in the babk isnt an investment but investing in bitcoin is really a good one because no matter how volatile the market tends to go it will surely retrace to favour you.so make your uncle know it pays investing in bitcoin
