Hey, (@miningpoolhub)

Can someone explain why this transaction has not been confirmed for hours?

This was sent by Mining Pool Hub to my wallet...

Im using Nicerminer, with a 1080ti.
Currently it is mining Lyra2REv2 (Vertcoin)
Nicerminer says I get a hash speed of 66.491MH/s, but Mining pool hub overview says 51.31MH/s
This is quite a difference.
Why is this?

What is going on with the ETN pool?  Did you not update your software?  There is no way you should have 170 MH/s so quickly after the fork when other pools have 1 or 3.  You are operating on a bad chain and apparently with the ASICs still mining.  How did this happen?  And why would you roll back to the previous version?  You are essentially performing a 51% attack at this point and have created an unofficial, new, chain.

Is MPH claiming that they were running the updated software, found a block, and the blockchain rejected it?

BTW, Suprnova appears to be operating on this bad chain as well.  Something is really messed up.

Still no block after 307500 at the others pools, seems this is the only pool where you can mine ETN... after dead fork...

Well a block on the real chain was found so I guess the fork is working.

How you are going to resolve this, MPH?

The ETN blockchain explorer website isn't working, but the blockchain is working!

As of now, ETN is at block 307,596!

That looks like the old chain not the correct new version!

That block height also got showed by the pools what are on the old chain.

Well a block on the real chain was found so I guess the fork is working.

How you are going to resolve this, MPH?
https://etn.nanopool.org/ is working on the current new chain (also look at ETN twitter and facebook).

For the pools what ''switched'' back to the old chain are doing something wrong. All pools should switch as fast as possible to the new ETN version (Cryptonight V7) so we can find new blocks on the new chain, after every block the diff get lower so the blocks goes faster.

When some pools without any reason go back to the old chain, the new chain will stay slow and the diff will stay high. So switch asap to the newest version and don't go back to an old not supported chain..

Copy from the etn.nanopool site:

Code:
nanopool
@nanopool_org
Anti-ASIC fork resulted in a dramatical hashrate drop in ETN network.
We are expecting network difficulty to stabilize in a few days,
however finding next blocks could take up to several hours.
Due to that ETN payments are stopped until the network is back to normal #ETN

My suggestion is to go to nanopool and if u want to go on miningpoolhub, wait till miningpoolhub are updated to the new chain. I also prefer miningpoolhub as poolsite, but for now i will be on nanopool till miningpoolhub is updated.

That is a new url (v7).. why would they display the old blockchain?  It also shows the difficulty going down which is what to be expected.

I really dont know! i am asking this also on the electroneum topic here on bitcointalk because ETN send nothing anymore on there social media.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2353282.msg38982174#msg38982174 this is the ETN topic, i also asked about what u say (about whattomine) so we will see!!

99% from the pools are on the old chain, exchanges are on the old chain, i dont know what is happening here.

I hope it gets back to normal soon.  I have an interrupted transaction (not on MPH).  I hope not lost.

Edit: Looks like MPH switched back to the new chain, but still having problems.

Cryptopia is on the same block as ETN V7, that is not what whattomine is showing.
Whattomine is on the old chain, only pool i can find right now is etn.nanopool.org they are on the right chain. So lets mine!

Also it looks like MPH is down so.. Sad i tought MPH would be the first pool on the new blockchain, was waiting with my miners..

In crypto, everything is important, but I won't cry over this one.  Grin You would think that balances would be pushed out when a pool is closed, but time after time, sites just keep our balances and then they disappear. Bulwark took me for about $20, Altminer probably 2/3rds of that. Coinfoundry was the only one that stepped up when they closed a pool, wish MPH would do the same.

BTCP was never opened for mining. it was just given out as your bitcoin balance when it forked. most pools will not give you forked coins

Hi,

I've created an android app for monitoring status on MPH with 0 ads. You can check it on https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.datarius.miningpoolhubmonitor

Feedback would be appreciated.
