I haven't signed up yet and from what I understand you need to sign up and convert at least $40 into crypto through their service.

Litecoin halving is predicted to happen in earl August. The result of this halving will see the block reward reduced from 12.5 LTC to 6.25 LTC.
In the past the halvings have been 'bullish' news. I am still hodling some LTC in my wallet and maybe I will pick up some more.

And there is the biggest increase in active LTC wallets in 2 years. This is including 832,000 wallets of sending and receiving.

I think the Litecoin community is simply not really active here. Even Dogecoin has the same problem. The subforum anyway is cluttered by ANNs of very small and mostly centralized coins.

Most active communities seem to be:

Litecoin subreddit (several posts/topics per day)
Litecointalk (at least 50 topics per month)

There are sometimes also topics popping up in the Altcoin Discussion forum, like "Litecoin's comeback".

About the "underperforming" in price: My theory is that many people were too delusional with the pre-halving hype in 2023, and when the price even lowered near the halving, they sold due to disappointment. In addition I think some LTC holders could have sold ther LTC for BTC to speculate on the ETF event, and as currently BTC is performing better than LTC, they don't buy back into LTC. A BTC sideways market lasting more than a few days could be the next opportunity for LTC price to grow. Once it leaves the $65-73 corridor it should again begin to increase in attractivity for those looking the charts.

The usage statistics (transactions per day) still look extremely good. Even after the Ordinals hype has waned, LTC still sees more than half of the transaction count per day than BTC (currently 200-250k/day).

I have observed it during the news that it's going to halve but then, not that really pushing through. I've checked the other dedicated forum of it but it seems that the community of it isn't really active at all with these forums that they can chit chat and discuss about LTC.
Well, surprisingly, the market cap is still there for being a top 21 coin in the market but then, I don't really see a lot of discussions about it yet it retains its market capitalization which means that its supporters are still there and active.

With the release of the Satoshi emails over the last few weeks I believe Litecoin has it's merits not to mention Bitpay transactions soaring merchants seeing more payments in LTC than BTC for the first time in history.

It's great to see the Litecoin development pushing forward too. For a long time there was not much going on but now we are really seeing interest be taken in the Litecoin network.

One thing we really missed out on was the doge hype doge that was a big mistake we needed to be party to that hype train as the security behind the doge! 

I always wondered what would occur if we see a market reversal where people switch there doge for LTC.

I really do think now we should be trying to convince markets to list LTC as a base pair like BTC has pairs against most alts.

This would drive trading and liquidity into the LTC pair.

At this point for trading alt markets the BTC pairs make no sense anymore. The logical choice would be LTC base pairs.
