There are many factors that play a role in this rise. 1) Greater volume from the Japanese DMM exchange addition of Litecoin. 2) More nodes utilizing lightning network leading to increased liquidity. 3) More people using Litecoin to transact between exchanges. 4) Charlie Lee, the founder, being vocal on Twitter regarding his support of Litecoin.

It seems so crazy but I wouldn't be surprised to see 500-800$ ltc this year, there is going to be announcements and things coming
out.

I think Mr. Lee's selloff is because of conflict of interest.

Look at ltc compared to the other top five coins, its lagging behind, its due for more mkt share but only alongside releases and

I love the evolvement  of LTC. I think I will just stay in his environment when making transfers to exchanges   and  don't think I need much more than that.

Today LTC appears to have stabilised after small fluctuations that occurred yesterday.
Right now LTC Price at $241. This is down from a high of $256 yesterday.
A recent price crash was sparked after CMC removed prices from South Korean exchanges without warning.
Prices on South Korean exchanges are typically up to 30% higher than in other countries.
The widely used research site’s decision to exclude average price data from Bithumb, Coinone and Korbit resulted in a sudden drop in displayed prices.
This sparked panic and confusion amongst investors but prices are expected to stabilise soon.
LTC started out 2017 at $4.33 - meaning the digital currency enjoyed extraordinary growth last year.

Thats true, is there any development coming up, which will increase the worth of the coin? I didn't know the coin was still that cheap in 2017 I'd have definitely bought more, but you never know. At the moment I'm all set for ltc, mining on zpool and getting the coins instantly exchanged to ltc. I don't know why but at the moment I don't like btc at all, too much fees, confirmations takes too long, maybe thats why its Litecoins turn now.
