Can someone with greater experience objectively explain what/why is currently happening with Litecoin. For hte past 1 hours I have been watching the charts for every minute candles. Patters are weird. USD price is dropping compared to this morning, LTC/BTC price is pumping. Are we just witnessing another pump and dump story on the back of good old litecoin or the network news form the morning are legit (even if so, charts show price decrease from 170+ to 150+ USD).

That is normal market movement big whales are having fun at weekend there are some upcoming news but overall market is under huge pressure. If someone thinking to buy than he should be careful in recent situation no doubt LTC is one of the best coin. |

Are you looking at a different coin or how do you come up with that number of €60? Litecoin is sitting at 150 bucks right now. |

Are you looking at a different coin or how do you come up with that number of €60? Litecoin is sitting at 150 bucks right now. Litecoin was already dumped hard, it hit 80 EUR a few days ago. I doubt it will go that low again, now the big whales are celebrating and waiting for the lite network pump... |

useless scamcoin It's not reflecting good on your account frankly. I'm ok with negative criticisms but do back it up. I'm appreciative of laris2 sharing the thread here to be honest. I don't scour around bitcointalk so that is quite helpful. I'm all for forks done the right way, and wish both LTC and LCC success. theres no need for more forks Thank you. Litecoin hasn't had any fork, this is the first I've heard of. If anything, I think bitcoin has had the most forks from what I see. Though, I somewhat agree with you, I think the first thing I want to see for Litecoin is have more marketing, get more people to talk and trade. Those issues that the LCC fork wanted to address doesn't seem to resonate urgency. |

After this we seen a good movement from this coin, maybe after the Chinese new year we will see a difference in form of rising high, lite is an impressive project and even in the bloody market we are seeing the potentials, better to buy and hold and never to fall in any panic, the market will be healthy again and surely the value of each coins especially those who are in the top 20 alts will reach back the momentum, I will just hold my ltc till bitcoin and the rest of the crypto will rise high again. |

It seems that few coins from alternative markets are being prepared to take big piece of the pie by gaining more share from the market capitalization against Bitcoin. I see this upcoming release of LitePay in that context as this is being taken as big thing for faster and cheaper transfers plus more platforms for Litecoin all in big picture tells huge story.

Between the Trump tax cuts putting about 200 USD a month more into peoples paychecks and Tax refunds starting to roll in WE should see some good Retail investors buying in on coin base. LTC is the most affordable coin offered there as most people don't know or want to own fractions of coins. Plus the restatement by Mr Lee about LTC being the transactional helper of BTC we should see a nice pump over the next few weeks/months. |
