Litecoin is getting an ETF?  Come on man, that would take it to $15-$20k.  Is this another owl joke?  I wanna know cause it’s still even tho it’s listed on Ameritrade so it’s clearly making it’s way on large American exchanges.  Thanks, G.  Pun intended.   Grin

In my opinion it is also little seen how much they produce. an s19 offer it at $ 12,000 with 3.4 kw of power consuption, without a host and with $ 36 per day of revenues. I'm doing it wrong? is it little?

The price of LTC will be pushed up by factors such as the launch of smart contracts and NFTs. These are the main drivers of growth for the project for 2022.

ATH? You mean $ ~400 by the end of the month? I seriously doubt that will happen, but who am I to say? Stranger things have happened before, and if I could predict such things, I would be a very rich man.

Anyway, if I were you, I would not sell. It's not the right time, especially if you were buying at a higher price than the current one.

perhaps litecoin should begin to develop a hybrid between swaps and smartcontracts as it is moving in that direction. Why is development so static? if you need funds, raise them. we are not left behind!

Why Litecoin Will Keep Doing Well in 2022 and Beyond

Recent Developments with LTC Crypto
Litecoin has been making news lately in the finance world. In a twist of old finance vs. new finance, Litecoin recently announced via a tweet that it had teamed with VISA  to issue a Litecoin debit card.

Litecoin’s virtual card is the only card that stays in Litecoin. The Litecoin balance is converted at the time of purchase in a sufficient amount to cover a purchase with a merchant.

So all you have to do is fund your Litecoin Visa card with a balance in Litecoin. It is sort of like a “secured” debit card if you will. The difference is that you get to keep earning more value in dollars as the value of your Litecoin balance grows.

In fact, you can also deposit Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple as well as Litecoin. Litecoin says that the LTC debit card can be used at all digital merchants that use Visa as their payment processor. They estimate this to be about 50 million merchants worldwide.

This is likely to shake up traditional finance as this kind of concept develops within the decentralized finance (Defi) universe.

Currently, the price is not driven by either of them. I think there is one main reason that is responsible for the run of Litecoin over the last week. AMC (you know the actually bankrupt cinema franchise and meme stock) has announced to accept cryptos in their cinemas. One of them is Litecoin. This has increased the investments of AMC stock holders into these cryptos, among other things Litecoin.

I believe many Hodlers will use it, with a desire to support the "brand", or simply to have a personalized card with the LTC logo. In my opinion, it's just one more way to promote the currency.

I think you are right. Personalized card is LTC support, brand advertising and shows the status of the owner. Also, the monthly fee of $ 5 for many countries is not expensive.

Sorry, but it is for any country. More than a lot of cards don't charge a dime on monthly basis, so why does someone get this card for "LTC only" use and pay every month $5? Undecided
The status of a holder is been shown from other things and not from a plastic card that has his name on it...

After Taproot upgrade was successfully introduced to Bitcoin and it also did not lead to a fork, are there actually plans on Litecoin's part to implement the upgrade as well? This should also make Litecoin more efficient and provide greater anonymity. Could not find any information on this.
