The falling price of Bitcoin is helping with the refunds. Many refund payments being sent today.

Glad there is a positive to falling BTC. I look forward to being paid at some point.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Wow...I stop in from time to time just to see if anything has changed. Looks like all that has changed is that the frequency of payments has gotten slower and slower. Appears that most payments are still around .02 (which is anemic). With prices falling like they have been, it would seem like profit opportunities from arbitrage should have been better (but what do I know?).

I received .03 in Sept and .02 in Oct, and nada since then. If I did the math right, at this rate it will take about 16 years for me to get back my 1.3 BTC. I hope you guys that had more in this than me live well into your 100's!

Just a heads-up to anyone who cares - I had to start a new Bitcointalk account, as it appears my old one was compromised. It doesn't look like it's being used for anything yet, but I wanted to go on record that if you start seeing any nonsense out of the FreeJack2k2 account, it isn't me!

You may want to check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=497545.0 to see how you could recover your bitcointalk account.

Yeah I sent Theymos a signed message with the address that was in my old sig, but he seems to be ignoring the request for a reset.

No refunds in 10 days, with the price in the 200s, through some of the most volatile weeks in a while. 2029 expected date for full refunds? Im a little less hopeful about this process...

With Bitcoin prices jumping, it seams like some decent arbitrage opportunities exist.

Updates

1. If you sent a PM when the forum was offline I think it may have got lost during the database problems. If you don't get a reply it would be a good idea to send it again.

2. More refund payments were sent when the forum was down.

3. More refund payments are being sent right now.

4. Stop using exchange addresses as your refund address. The inbox is always getting full with people needing to change their address because of Bitstamp and other problems.

The linked revealed that:
the site is only about one month old
that its server location is in Malaysia, not in Switzerland, they claimed their office are in Switzerland, & yet they host their server in Malaysia? Hm, very suspicious

There are plenty of affordable hosting in Malaysia; don't see a problem with that.
and the OP has been missing for more than 10 days.

Just curious which exchanges are you arbitraging? I just saw a 20 dollar spread between BTC-e and stamps... almost 10%
