Just out of curiosity: if BTC ARBS is still making a profit, why not put the site back up and get it going again?  If mistakes were made the first time, we could all pitch in our ideas and make sure it ran better or at least didn't suffer the same fate.  Maybe just start a whole new site?  We could re-invest whatever he is paying back and then see some profit again.  Just my thought for tonight as I await my first payment...

Because all of the profit has to be used to pay back the gigantic amount of debt they owe. There's no point in running a site when you owe nearly 600 bitcoin to investors from the old site.

I agree.  It wouldn't be right to just shift debt from one group to another and they can't very well offer decent returns when they are paying off a large debt.

Guys, can you please calm down? I am seeing a lot of impatient people complaining that they haven't received any reply, but why dont you bother to read what BTC-Arbs said, you only have to send him 1 pm/email and then he will see it through, if you bombard him with pm's and emails it will only annoy him and you will be put to the bottom of the repayment queue.

I sent one email on May 30 and one PM about a month later, then sent another PM only when he asked on this thread for new BTC-e addresses from anyone that used BTC-e as the old ones were no longer valid. I have sat here and watched numerous people get contacted and some partially or totally refunded that were not in contact with him until after I was.. I have watched people with higher balances and lower balances get contacted and/or paid... I'm not bombarding anyone with PMs or emails.. Just posting on here as many others have done in hopes that maybe something will come of it and my 1.5btc will show up

I was one of the first emails/PMs and I haven't gotten anything back yet.  Though, I do have one of the larger deposits.

Same here,  1 Email explaining everything.  1 PM saying to see the email.  Both done 6/8.  Nothing so far.  I'm not in a rush to receive payment, but would at least like acknowledgement that he has received my claim and is looking into it, or it will be on the schedule at some point.

The PM system on this forum is ,to say the least, not good.  I'm worried that he didn't get the PM or it got deleted, or my Email went to his spam folder.  So many things could have gone wrong.  A one line response "got your request and I'm working on it", would help to calm people.

damn, hes actually paying back?

Surprising, yes.
He has been doxx'ed, and that probably does play a role for the refund. Wink

All I can testify to is he is promising to pay back.  I got a message from him stating that he would send payments on the 16th-20 of July to me.  Then he never did.  Those that are getting paid.... well great.  I am still out 2btc.  Sometimes if you say your doing something and not really doing it all your doing is calling that dog off the hunt.  I am looking for my own beagle.

In my message I said that you would receive your first payment by the 20th of July. Your initial payment was 0.2 bitcoin.

The refund address that you provided was 1JF1wewdPAhmQCLrFudqkHXku628QKun7b

The transaction of your first refund payment:

When is the second refund coming? Now, everyone knows this is a HYIP, and the owner doesn't have enough money to pay people out, and the owner doesn't have a way to make money. The arbitrage is just a cover.

But, unless he pays 100% of everyone's money back (which he can't), he is a scammer and he should face the consequences. I think everyone shouldn't be pacified by small amounts of refunds.

At this point, we kinda don't have a choice about what's considered satisfactory. Small increments of refund is better than nothing at all.
I received .1 btc yesterday, by the way (second payment I've received). If someone wants to update the list, they're welcome to, but since btc-arbs admin doesn't use that list I don't deem it a necessity.

I think it's still a good idea to keep the list updated.  I, for one, haven't received anything, but...   Knowing there are others in the same boat helps a little.

I really wish he would work his way through the PM's and Emails and at least acknowledge the debt, he could just say he'll follow up when a partial refund can be expected.  Maybe tell us there are x number of people ahead of you....  Right now we're just stuck in this limbo-land.

Keeping the spreadsheet updated is useful, it lets everyone know how the process is going and what the pace looks like. I have a feeling a lot of people on the spreadsheet either weren't honest or are not updating it, though.

I have a feeling a lot of people on the spreadsheet just haven't been refunded. My case, at least.

I have a feeling that a lot of people on the spreadsheet never invested.   It makes things look worse than when what they are.   I haven't looked at it for a while, but it was well over 600 BTC and BTC_Arbs claimed there was never that much BTC invested with him.
