I must admit, that I was doubtful after first 24 hrs. The price was going up and down even more than with other altcoins. The same with difficulty. But after reading your analysis ( http://www.teamaircoin.org/press/AIRcoin%20first%2024%20hours.pdf ) I am happy I stayed in and did not sell what I have mined in past days. It is really good and profesional work - it seems you know what you are doing. If you look on price and difficulty rising slowly again, it looks like more people share my opinion

The front page post is really informative on recent developments and the icons add a special touch to it - great job on that.

Moola.io is also very clean, got me excited about seeing AIR so high in the charts.

After reading through the whitepaper, power reading all the posts in this thread and seeing the updates on the first days of trading, I have to admit that the dev team for Aircoin seems to have a lot of potential. No matter what happens, if you stay true to your word and do your best, the results will show it and the coin will succeed. I'll pick up some on poloniex for the moment. Good luck.

Having read the first 24h white paper, I think forum would benefit from a key points/message from it on the first page and/or on the current page.
I think a lot people who don't have time to read the whole paper would benefit from a summary.

My one comment for the paper - don't think all the miners dump.
Sure, some are purely for the quick buck and will dump as they mine, but there are miners who sees mining as an investment.

Seeing the dumps (twice ~1300) on Poloniex on the first day, I'm quite confident that there won't be many more large dumps soon.
Weak hands have already been shaken, there aren't many more large holders left, and those who are - have confidence in this investment.
I can say that as I've been mining early, solo for the first couple days, so knowing how much I have and how much is on the market - and I'm definitely not going to sell a single coin any time soon.

Better yet, considering the block reward, difficulty, spreading popularity - it's unlikely that we'll have many more/regular large dumps.
Way too few coins on the market, even jumping multipools won't be able to do that - and these can be easily handled day by day with your trading strategy

I consider this coin, Darkcoin and several other as a key coins in my portfolio - and as such will support with mining/buying.

Yeah, hodling is difficult! I am also daily trader. I like it and I live from this crypto-business past 3 months (but I do not need much to be happy).

I was early miner of dogecoin, vertcoin and also auroracoin, but everytime I could not resist to dump coins on exchange when I had above average profit. Sometimes few hours before theirs launch to the moon.

I am mining aircoin since diff 1,5 so I have some coins. But this time, I am going to release them veeeery slowly. Instead I must resist tendency to buy more (because I do not want to put all my eggs into one pocket).

it seems to me that you are the joke here. The devs are very professional. There was a dump of 2000 aircoins and it even bounced back to almost 2 after that. There is buy support, there is some volume, i don't really see the problem here. Of course there is some instability in the beginning. Big hands will dump, but the way i see it now this coin still has great potential.

That is also very interesting and a good idea. If the devs would earn BTC from some sales, they can indeed rent some high hashpower to keep the network healthy.

What a stupid idea. Miners are not going to compete with developers who already have over 90% of the coins.
