I love how the pool share difficulty at zeuscoin set for my workers was about 100x higher than needed to solve a block.

Um, stupid?

What's broke?  The code in general, or just the Gravity Well?  I see the adjustments on almost every block, but the blocks appear to be coming in about every 2-5 seconds.  Nowhere near the 20seconds advertised.

Wish I would have caught that 20 second blocktime to begin with... would have skipped right over this thread and this coin... but I'm here, so I'll stick with it until at least the first 10k blocks are mined.

Intent: 20 second blocks - 10k blocks in ~55 hours.
Actual: 3 second blocks - 10k blocks in ~8.5 hours.

After that... PoS (Proof of stake or piece of shit?)

Don't worry, my pool set a share difficulty of 4.1k when difficulty was 1.  Awesome.

4.0: 10,001-260,000
2.0: 260,001-510,000
1.0: 510,001-760,000
0.5: 760,001-1,010,000
0.25: 1010001+

we are at 3200 block and almost all blocks were orphans.

Ok well my bfgminer is connected and working hard, but the pool says my worker isn't connected. I understand the algo requirements.

first you create .conf file in Version folder:
it should look like this:
version.conf
Code:
server=1
listen=1
rpcport=9908
rpcuser=youruser
rpcpassword=yourpass

then i have following  .bat file to start bfgminer:

Code:
bfgminer -o http://127.0.0.1:9908 -u youruser -p yourpass --set-device antminer:clock=x4C81 -S antminer:all

Any coders out there wanna fork this puppy?

300 second block time minimum
1 coin reward for first 10,000 blocks
25 coin reward for the next 10,000 blocks (blowout)
Then go to PoS with the 4/2/1/whatever rewards.

Call it Version2 [V2]
