VERSION UPDATE 0.8.7 INSTRUCTIONS

To resolve the issues we have been experiencing you will need to run the latest wallet version 0.8.7 and follow these instructions to ensure you are on the correct chain.

1. Find your blockchain files in the Version data directory (C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Version on Windows 7/8.1, ~/.version on Linux)



2. Back them up into another location



3. Edit your version.conf file or create it if it doesn't exist an ensure this line is in the file:

4. Download the latest wallet:

5. Run it once, and allow it to redownload the block chain.

6. Close the wallet, remove the connect= line from version.conf.

7. Open the Wallet and you are back in business!

At Block 70,000 the block target time will slow from 20s to 60s.  This will help alleviate some of the issues we've been seeing.

The correct chain is around 58,800 in height as of this post.

I'm afraid that we still have a problem.

I'm shutting down stratum again and I'll work with the dev to fix this. I recommend noone starts mining as there is still a problem .

Those coins do not exist. We were having several forks running at the same time and now we're going back in time.

When all this is resolved, we will make the appropriate credits for what was in the users' balances right before the problem started.

Those coins do not exist. We were having several forks running at the same time and now we're going back in time.

When all this is resolved, we will make the appropriate credits for what was in the users' balances right before the problem started.

As I already said a few times before, I do not see this coin as a plain copy/paste coin. The dev-team has put a lot of effort and this is why we're supporting it as much as we can.
I'm putting my trust to staycrypto and I'm trying to work with him as much as possible not only to get over this minor set back, but to move the coin to the next level.

I want to try to put support, didn't think last 2 days was a pure waste kinda lost a lot with that , I knew there was some risk of it maybe fund not being accurate , but the whole thing is kinda like ouch,was top5  miners throughout those 2 days ...I can't imagine the dudes who had all there rigs put on this and now finding out not even a coin is being made , why wasn't the pool put down ? some of us weren't in the area like me I just noticed today

There was an announcement in the news page and also in the top of every page of the pool's site.
I'm very sorry that you didn't notice that.
The pools wasn't down because we didn't know what would the proceedings of the coin would be nor we were instructed to shut down the pool.
From what you can understand, our pool also had an impact because of this, but in the coin world this happens and we have seen it many times and with a lot worse scenarios (and damage).

We keep supporting the coin because the efforts by the coin developer are extreme and we see it as an investment, because of that reason.

I do hope that you share the same vision as us and keep mining this coin.

if i don't delete the addr.dat file gives me an awful error, backed up and deleted, then works like a charm.
