This appears to have been an exploit to move the chain to minimum difficulty and print blocks. I am working on a patch now and will let everyone know when a new build with the fix is available.

I have figured out the root cause, I am almost done with a patch, I have to test it and then I have to do the build of the Windows wallet. The fix will be out sometime today. |

cd version
qmake
make
In any event, I am updating my seed nodes now and testing the fix. |

I might be having some issues. Checked a transaction from new source code to see if payouts are going as they should. For some reason, I didn't see the transactions and worse of all is that my daemon has only 5 connections. |
