At program launch I receive the following error "The program can't start because MSVCP120.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

Do I really need to install the Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 Runtime Libraries ?

Most likely. I'm surprised they're not installed by default yet!

I'm a bit sad the devs refused to admit they had no intention to stay, even though it was obvious.

The team has dwindled due to real life commitments, but I'm still around. Anybody wishing to contribute something positive to the project is welcome to contact me.

Simply increasing the block size isn't much of an experiment. Maybe implementing some method of dynamically sized blocks, so that the block size can grow algorithmically with the usage of the network or something, but probably not a huge issue for myriad atm...

Looks like someone is buying up all the classics. I say experiment, that's the point of being an altcoin.

I'm still here, if you consider me a dev. Lol I just help make small things, like profit calculators, p2pool networks, block explorer, bountyboard and most recently the backend for a poker site that allows MYR to be used as poker chips. It's not released yet though, as the guy setting things up is having trouble with his server hardware. We hope to have something by the end of next month.

So yeah, we're all still here, even if we've grown a little silent.

Bird,

Why did you give up on DGB? Seems like what you're doing is a natural for DGB as well. Sure did appreciate your efforts while you were with us and miss not having them now.

Best regards,

HR

I gave up on DGB because of a combination of things... No one really bothered mining on my nodes after a while, I hate how the difficulty is extremely high most of the time, and honestly it was annoying having an extra 5-6 VMs to look after. It did not make for happy reboots. All that and it was time consuming to maintain my MYR services and a duplicate set of services for DGB. So I decided to stick with my roots.

...
It did not make for happy reboots.
...

Are reboots ever happy?

Also, I've put together just a kind of place holder website for some kind of myr project here: http://myrcraft.com/

Not really sure what I want to do with it yet. I'm thinking of trying to make a pretty simple game, that if the player wins they get 10 myr or something, like a game/faucet. I was thinking of trying to put together more of a versus game where people could battle and winner takes all myr bet, but that seems infinitely more complex and I don't want to run afoul of any gambling type regulations. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Your idea sounds like a winner. Most faucets have horrible captchas that are awful to use. A game faucet sounds like much more fun.

For what it's worth, I still check in every once in a while to make sure no one is having issues with the switcher, both here and over reddit.
