"It is possible" to start C2 market in next 12h.

But seems like there are reasons that it may take longer...

Seems nothing to worry about. BTer has a pretty darn good communication to clients even timezone diff.
What I concerned is NXT-e goes under. lol.
Market slow in exchanges reopen because 1) ticker symbol changed. 2) people has to get use to the concept of renewer. Some sit and watch then react later. Glad that because it could avoid irrational decision. 3) back to #1, where's the hack C2 goes? To those not quite follow day traders, Take some time for them to track down Coin2. Activities will back to normal. Give it another 24 hrs.
By the way, Poloniex vol always thinner than BTer and Mintpal on virtually all coins.
Bittrex needs to reduce those top and bottoms banners by at least 50% and increase market viewing estate to reduce multi page scrolling. That alone could get the daily trade vol up by 50% with those attention on securities is a peace in mind to trade there.

You can stake your coins without having the wallet fully unlocked for transfers
