OK I'll break it down for people how this works and everything that has happened so far.

1)Old POW C2 network was 51% attacked.

2)Joel and Kalisto worked their asses off to make a new coin, POS Coin2.0

3)We had talks with Bittrex, They agreed to help us convert old POW C2 to new POS C2

4)All Old POW C2 must be deposited to Bittrex to be converted to new POS C2.
(Fail to do this and your old POW C2 will be lost)

5)If your going to help the network transfers by mining, Apply your miner to either my
credentials for the pool, or follow Joels solo mining tutorial on page 1 of this thread.
This only applies to the Old POW Wallet, not the POS One.

Here are the credentials for accessing my pool worker:
    minerd --url=stratum+tcp://162.243.98.4:3333 --userpass=KingArbinV.user:password

6) We are aware that there are exchanges not working yet, we are in communications with them.

Cool Because I felt like skipping 7

9) My guess to what happens with peoples coins that are not converted leaving an extra amount
of new C2 is they will be applied to the amount of interest gained for peoples stakes.

 10)    9 is a guess ^^^^^

Hope this clears up any confusion

World without fiats!

Hi guys, can you explain how to get the stake? I'm a bit confused  Roll Eyes
thanks

Here is a little tutorial for this process:

If you have coins on an exchange, and none on a local(your computer) wallet you will be fine.  The exchanges will switch them over for you.

If you have coins on your local wallet(on your computer) read below:

1. Send all coins to an exchange wallet as soon as possible.

2.We are uploading new wallet as we speak.  The new wallet is Coin2.0(C2.0).  Make sure you get the right one.

3.Enjoy Coin2.0, and thank you for sticking with us during this rough time.  WE ARE BACK AND STRONGER THAN EVER! ^^^^^^^^MOON!
Ill stop after this:
When should we be withdrawing c2.0 from the exchange after we submit out old coins?  After the 48 hour transfer period?  If so you should change steps to

1. Send all old coins to an exchange wallet as soon as possible.  This can be Bter, Poloniex, or Bittrex. Then sit tight.
2. New wallet is uploaded please download from "insert link"
3. Enjoy Coin2.0 after 48 hours or after "Wednesday X:o'clock GMT" withdraw to you new wallet to begin staking coins, or leave on exchange and happy trading.

**Edit this 1-3 steps are my idea of how this is going to happen, I am not a dev and these steps are possibly incorrect

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

Are there some problems with the deposit of bittrex??
I've transferred my C2 to bittrex about 2 hours ago, but there isn't still even shown a pending deposit.

can somebody talk to bittrex that 20 confirmations needed is the way too much ?i was testing with 2 deposit and they are stuck in 5 and 11 confirmations.

it will eventually confirm... there is no need to reduce that since that only opens us to more 51% type attacks that we have to clean up... its just time and there's plenty of it Smiley

In other word: If you've coin2 stuck in Bittrex or in Bter, You don't have worry. The Exchange will convert for you once ready.

Not sure of Polinex, NXT-e... cause never heard from them nor inform Joel ( Dev and team ) of theirs commitment. Keep contact them as I did just in case that will cost us quite a bit.

I have just tried out the new C2v2 wallet for windows
( http://sourceforge.net/projects/coin2project/files/Coin2.0.zip/download "<14 hours ago")

Judging by what "Menu ... Help ... Debug ... Information" says, it is compiled with the openSSL version "OpenSSL 1.0.1e 11 Feb 2013" that is vulnerable to the www.HeartBleed.com bug exploit.

Please recompile with a newer OpenSSL.

Try to close you wallet and to open it again. If it doesn't work, you will find solutions in this page:

I apologize if this has already been answered.

How will Coin2.0 use POS? Is it going to be an direct clone of Peercoin's POS percentage (1% yearly, SA 30/90) or has a percentage been decided as of yet?

Lastly, I know the old chain will be rendered useless but what will happen with the deficit in exchange to Coin2.0 specifically?

I tried reopen wallet again and also added the addnode, but nothing helped.

Can somebody please explain this?
For me it worked by simply un-checking the "Map port using UPnP"  from Options> Network
I don't understand what I need to do Undecided
